Thanks for the updates. We arrive last week of August so hopefully they get a lot done by then. Hopefully more rooms will be opened up in the main building by then, also hope Villa pool won’t be under construction then, it’s my fav pool. I had no idea (even after several stays) that you could get to the Villa pool via main building. I always used the entrance across from the Beach Pool. Keep the updates coming! That's the entrance I just realized it was there. I've always came down from the Central Piazza. I think you are safe in late August but I will keep the updates coming out every Sunday.

I will be going back over on Sunday should post in the evening. I do not expect much change. The hardest thing is navigating around the buildings. I do expect more of the area around Bice to be painted but expect the fence to be still up.

Thanks for the update. We went a few months ago and opted for club level. Don’t! Club was very sub par. Hotel despite being hard to navigate and lacking any king of theming except for construction was worth it for the express passes. But that’s it. Won’t return.

The express passes to me seem to be the biggest selling point. If you use the club level for the majority of your dining it can save a lot of money. Overall how was your room and which wing were you in.

@@BigtimeMyrtleBeach The room was very spacious but the pool view was obstructed by a big tree. We were in the West wing which was undergoing the facelift too. The express passes did make it worth it because if you do the math it saves a ton of money. I'm sure it will be amazing once everything is completed.

Once you get the express passes it makes it hard to stay anywhere else. The rooms are good but they are showing age already. I do need to stay once the renovation is complete but I really like Royal Pacific.

I’m here at Portofino and honestly it was a huge problem all this renovation, I love this resort this is not my first time here, but hopefully it gets better soon, it is a huge hotel and with all this renovation the noise , the water taxi , the bus and the walking is horrible horrible 😞 The beds needs new mattress the club level I got was harbor floor all the way to the end of the Starbucks hall going to eat breakfast take me around 15 min to get to the club lounge the lavanderia was so far, the beach pool was super far far away from my room that make me don’t want to go there, I love the hotel concept but honestly for a handicap person is a huge hazard ⚠️ I would stay in hard rock next time

I did not realize that they were putting club level on the east wing. That would be a huge problem especially if you are handicapped. Going to the beach pool from that side of the resort is really a long way. I thought they only did club level in the main building. When I am doing the video's I am only looking at the building for the work being completed. It will really be nice when complete but is really a long way from being complete. I completely understand why you would choose Hard Rock.

That is understandable you want to have the best stay. I think the resort will look better in July but it will still be hard to navigate to the restaurants and the
