As a disabled person I really appreciate your speach at the beginning of this video. Many "able-bodied" people judge things with out really thinking that other people live completely different lives. Not only do they judge but they don't even care to know/ask why something is the way it is. Don't judge a book by it's cover, read a bit and learn...

Please don't assume that because the neighbours don't help out, that they don't want to. I was the neighbour who came over to mow an elderly neighbours yard. I love watching the garden ‘bones’ emerge - the paths, the garden edging, etc. order emerging from the chaos 😊 Until recently I haven’t been able to help much with the lawn care around home due to arthritis, particularly in the back and hands. Hubby solved that for me with the purchaser of an electric mower. We needed a new one anyways. Our house block is pretty big, so hubby uses his ride on for the big spaces, but I can get in now and help with the fiddly bits, the front yard and the loooong driveway. The electric mower doesn’t vibrate like the petrol mowers and is a lot lighter to push for me, so I get in some good exercise now 😃 Keep doing what you do, I’m honoured to be a patreon of such a wonderful person ❤️

She bought a new mower for me to use and I have an electric string trimmer and leaf blower that I use. I just recently was going through the garage and found a gas powered blower but the primer bulb was dry rot. So I used KZbin to learn how to replace it and bought new bulbs from Amazon. I have problems with my light knee, hip and shoulder, but I just take my time and work through it. Sometimes it takes me 3 days but I get it done. I know all about how health issues can impact mobility and lawn maintenance. You do a wonderfully kind thing.
