Nice to be a supporter of this build and looking forward to seeing it in person next week at the BKM Schaumburg store.

Fantastic build, I’m glad to have sponsored this master peace and have the bofors. It’s always super cool to see Brickmania put these large scale ship builds in addition to assembling kits and run the business.

There is a problem with the narrative with this story. The hedgehog weapon doesn't explode at a preset depth. They only explode on contact!.

This is a genuinely cool build. Interesting that ships like this had both 'hedgehog' mortars and also old-style depth charges. Depth charges were supposedly very ineffective: Something like 1 in 100 actually damaged an enemy sub. They mostly just scared enemy subs and made them surface. The hedgehog mortars were much better and had like a 1 in 6 chance of damaging a sub.

I want it. My grandfather served on Lawrence C Taylor (DE-415), which was also a John C Butler class Destroyer Escort like the Samuel B Roberts (DE-413)
