I just love your channel, you now there are alot of beauty gurus that claim they love drugstore makeup, but when you watch them they rarely use or show them, you on the other hand do this. You love elf products, as I do. I feel that some think they are better because they love highend makeup more, but really products have nothing to do with the price you pay, I'd rather pay less for great products, and splurge on other things :) It's like BH cosmetics are great products too, I love their natural palette and their foiled eyeshadow palette is a dream. Anyway, just wanted to say that I love your channel, and this series :)

I've been living a clutter free life and I've never felt better. It took me a while to realise that you should live your life for yourself and not others, hence I stopped buying things just for the sake of staying on trend or for the ability to say "I own that". Now, I don't buy anything I don't need. I mean hey, I'll buy something as a treat if I really want to, but now I know that I don't need everything to be happy. I have only bought one makeup product this year (one!!!) and it was my powder that I use everyday that I ran out of. I'm so proud of myself. You also did an amazing job, Andréa, it's very inspiring!:) x

That is awesome! I'm somewhat minimalistic in other areas of my life and I hate clutter, so I definitely wanted to try it with my makeup. It tends me an area where I struggle, but it feels good to clear out things I'm not using. Like you said, it's important to have things for you and not just because it's on trend! I had the tarte 12hr foundation and I think it made me break out a bit as well. Mine was older , maybe it went bad because I don't remember it causing breakouts when I first bought it. Great declutter!

I used to have really oily skin and I was pretty happy with the cover fx mattifying primer, MUFE step 1 mattifying primer or boots no. 7 mattifying primer. Hope that helps!

+michelle Anthony It's tough! I have a hard time find a good mattifying primer too! I do like the Tarte Poreless primer, which isn't matte, but it is waterproof! I find that it helps to control my oily skin, while helping my foundation to go on smoothly. The Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte primer is a good option, but it's not holy grail status for me. I will definitely keep you posted if I find a good one!

my skin is so weird I have dry red patches and no matter if I use moisturizer and primer liquid foundation still clings to those patches. I only use loose mineral powder foundation because nothing else works. idk why.

Something that I really like is the elf Daily Moisture Stick! I use it for any areas that are super dry and it helps foundation to go on a little better!
