What about Mainoo as "False Nine" or CAM as many call it? I think it makes more sense for Mainoo to start in that position, than for us to "carry" Hojlund, who unfortunately acts as a passenger in the 9's role. I also believe that Mainoo is a better alternative than Zirkzee centrally. Mainoo is so talented that he could end up world class in the position Lionel Messi dominated for a number of years. If he reaches a level around 80-90% of Messi at his best, then we have a world star in the team. Technically, an incredible amount is required to succeed in a position few have today. Lionel Messi is the epitome of how effective a 'False Nine' can be, but you need to be world class to succeed in the position. You are a facilitator for "Inside Forwards" who will contribute with scoring, as well as scoring a large proportion yourself. I think Mainoo is made for the role of "False Nine" or CAM as it should be called.

Tel already has feedback from Sabitzer who had a good time on loan at United under ETH and he has Mazroai,De Ligt and Yoro who were teammates and friends of Tel at Bayern and France and so settling in would be easier for the youth!

Adam, I have supported United for over 50 years and I have been calling out for the team to be focused on youth players for well over 3 years so our recent business has gladened my heart. But I am now starting to being a bit concerned. I remember vividly Alan Hansen saying you win nothing with kids before we went on to do the unthinkable. We could actually see a full team of players under 22 years of age. It is unbelievable. So what do you think about going for the likes of Gyokeres who is 27/28 when there is someone like Jonathan David available and we also have Chido Obi Martin and a few others already at the club. My concern will be that with our deluded fanbase will expect miracles from these kids and while I have no doubts that they will give it 100% can they really be good enough to challenge for the major honours. That will be a huge challenge for the guys who were in the Class of 92 but we are now talking about a full team of kids!!!! Having just watched the latest show and the 4 guys being loaned out from the Under 21 team, I think the club and Ineos in particular and thinking the latest signings have bigger potential that the kids they are releasing. I am gutted for Dan Gore because of the injury appears to have scuppered any chance he did have of getting in to the first team. However the future looks so promising. Hopefully I will be around to see them dominate European football once again.

Adam I love your doing well but Ineos I give a toss about the price hikes the people losing jobs, it's all part off football business. This is down to Ineos. Plus they use FFP to put up prices. Selling Garnacho rather than find another way. I'm 62 and never seen a club so much in the gutter.
