He might be a good low risk option but he doesnt strike me as someone who can come in and be a difference maker and help us win the Europa League. If we're not going to get someone with proven quality and experience who could do that (like Cunha) in January then I for one would rather Amorim tried some of our hungry, fearless Academy players out for the remainder of the season.

They are, but come the summer 3 of the top 12 earners will definitely go: Sancho and Eriksen, both on £150K per week; Lindelof on £120K p/w. That's £420k per week (£21.84 million per year). If Casemiro and Rashford go in the summer, you can add another £450K per week (£23.4 million per year). Okay, we might have to subsidise some of their wages to get them gone. If we can get Mason Mount fit and sell him, that's another £250k p/w. That would leave the only other outrageous wage: Bruno Fernandes on £300K p/w. We're heading in the right direction wages-wise.

Garnacho continues to be poor in almost very game he plays. He does not even make the bench at city or Liverpool, he is one of the players who keeps us midtable yet this fanbase never learns. The guy is a Madrid born Real Madrid fan whose ego was blown out of proportion because of this fanbase. He has shown to not be the best of characters yet this fanbase still continue to back him. Martial and Pogba did more for this club and got abused by the same fanbase. It has to be his skin colour at this point because this level of emotionalism over such a bad player is disgusting.
