@@girlfinfishing Jake is healed up nicely after being shot and running around almost normal... he has seizures now so he is on meds for that. He has become even more snuggly, tries to climb in my lap all the time but he is a bit too big for that so I just sit on the floor for him.

The meat is orange because of the food they feed them at the hatchery, where they are raised before being stocked in lakes/ ponds 😉 one of the ways to tell stocked fish vs natives.. another is they usually have rounded off lower fins, from the concrete tanks..

Corgi cam is so much fun! Lol I need to get her filming my catch. I’ve only caught one catfish at Lake Amador. There are big ones in there though.
