I had my fill of fastnacht. The eventi s so slow that i really don't blame people for idling. 10 minutes long event, 5 are just waiting, waiting for the parade to start, waiting for the parade to reach a point, wainting for enemy waves to spawn, waiting for the master of ceremonies to allow you to burn the pyre. Wait wait wait.

I usually started the event often activating and finishing 3-4 of the robots work. Then I idled, watching a movie or similar. Did 200 events only got 4 helmets. Fun fun fun! Plus 2 of the helmets were the same so I really only got 3.

Honestly i wish theyed just give us some new weapons. Like they have all of fallout to pick from, wheres the 22 lr round silenced pistols? Wheres the 5.56 ammo guns? Like most of the events just give crappy cosmetics and dude i want more weapons to farm god rolls on. Most of my toons already have a full set of god rolled weapons and ive essentially got nothing to farm for. I get that alot of 76ers love cosmetics but dude im all about min/maxing my character i could care less about new looks. I typically get a single decent cosmetic that fits a characters vibe and stick with it forever. I want POWER not looks. I want more enemies to kill and more factions i have to gain rep with, i want end game raids back that drop sick sets and powerful weapons. I want more control over my rolls allowing me to spend a large amount of currency to lock a star and re roll the others, i want decent fucking pvp back for gods sakes. Also wheres the enclave dlc story that we literally ALL WANT AND HAVE BEGGED FOR? Whatever happened too " fallout 76 is going to start before the other games and eventually go past them in the timeline"? For fucks sake why not give us some damned synth enemies and synth weapons? Like lets move forward in the game and add content and weapons and factions instead of giving us a shitty parade event that basically nobody likes that rewards dumbass masks? Im just sayin. This game has so much more potential and its being wasted.

Fasnacht was fun in the beginning when I first started playing the game and didn’t know any better, but it was mostly the camaraderie of playing with a bunch of other players. It wasn’t until the Mothman Equinox event where I got a bunch of rad plans, that Fasnacht lost its shine 😂 but now with the arrival of so many new players populating our worlds (and I’m not complaining, I was new too, still technically am at lvl 75 😏) events aren’t being played, and shops aren’t turning up with impossible plans to get like the animatronic clown. That’s definitely a unicorn plan for me. I find em when I don’t have money, and when I have 20k to blow it on it doesn’t exist. Frustrating 😒

I played on PS5 and oh boy if I tried to join a fasnacht late it would crash the whole thing. I learnt to be early or not even bother 😂 at least fallout 76 is teaching me punctuality skills

From F76 web page: "Fallout 1st members automatically get free access to the Fallout 1st Seasons Pass (which includes premium rewards). Don’t worry if you are not already a Fallout 1st member, you can still get in on the extra rewards by picking up a Fallout 1st Seasons Pass for 1500 Atoms in the Atomic Shop." So "premium rewards" are already locked behind F1st. But it depends on if the "premium rewards" are more premium than they've been in the past. They probably want to squeeze more money out of the player base so I believe there is greedy shenanigans a foot.

I see the ticket system like playing at the prize arcade, ‘you can get this plastic spider or this scrunchy (scrapbox) for 25 tickets, or you can save for this cool fog machine or disco ball for 5,000 tickets (some armor set)’ definitely can see it being impossible to get the amount of tickets you need to get what you want. Really going to force you to ‘wait’ and get what you really want.

I'm really looking forward to the seasonal events returning. Mothman Equinox has been my favorite since I first played it, so I'm happy it's coming April 2nd. And the new outfit looks amazing for it. Invaders from Beyond I'm mixed about in terms of rewards. Though that's less about the event itself and more about RNG for the rewards giving me the same thing and no new plans again and again.

If you had to explain how this would work to somebody who's never yet played the FO76. How does this work in regards of: if I jump in around April or May, would I have access to everything from every season up to this point? Or Would I never be able to access all the content from seasons past? What does it mean to be a FO 1st player/member? Last I heard it costs like $11 per month? So I have to pay to even play? And is it almost modeled on the mobile game nightmare of "pay to play" or "pay to win" type endless money grab? I ask cause I am a huge fallout fan. Started with FO3 when it first came out. Played that thing for years lol Then of course FO NV. Same deal, played till I couldn't play any longer lol. But then I went totally away from tech for years, till the plague hit. Finally got FO4 (although I haven't been able to play much yet) And I grabbed a copy of 76. Never played it yet though. Lol long story short, I have no damn clue how it works. But it does look pretty fun

@@progo8156 there are events that go on usually only once a year. Fasnacht is one of them that has a real world counterpart in West Virginia. It celebrates the end of winter and the coming of spring. In game you march through town protecting the robots on parade and the better you do the greater the chances of a rare reward.

@@progo8156 in regards to the scoreboard you cannot access the previous ones. You do NOT need fallout 1st to play, it just adds some benefit and gives some cosmetics to the player. You don’t need to spend any money to do the scoreboard but some items will by available only to 1st members but you can unlock them without a membership by using the Atoms(in game currency you can buy for real money) you earn by completing the scoreboard. I would suggest just playing for a bit before spending any money to see if you like it. I’m a big fan and have been playing on and off for about four years.

NGL, I’m pleasantly surprised this game is still being supported. Credit where credit’s due, most companies would have abandoned the game at launch given the abysmal quality, but Bethesda actually put in the effort to fix the game. They ain’t perfect, far from it, but I’ll always give them props for that.

Fallout 76 in 2024 just keeps getting better. First the firing of the problematic CM, more monthly events, Fasnacht getting a update after 2 years and a very promising community calendar and a very welcoming and much needed change to the scoreboard.

I wish devs optimized the game. Fallout 4 running on Ultra in 100fps while Fallout 76 runs smooth only inside buildings. In freeroam even on lowest settings it's constat stuttering and 40-50fps.

76 died as soon as they updated level specific enemies. Nothing greater than entering world with a level 50+ player hanging around and now my level 1 is trying to punch waaay above his weight class. Oh look level 50 mini bot that one shots my new character!Haven’t played in over a year half. Moved on hoping they don’t ruin fallout 5
