I really wish Mr. Schreier wasn't the figurehead journalist behind this story breaking. It's like he purposefully undermines the stuff he reports on because antagonizing people he disagrees with is more important to him, to the point where just seeing his Kotaku picture makes one want to ignore this story altogether, or trigger some reactant instinct in people. I hate the game industry; journalists can't even expose the evils of it correctly. Like, is it because of the internet's development alongside the industry that made "gaming journalists" like this, or have real journalists always been like this? Would Upton Sinclair be posting about Gamer Gate if he had a twitter in 2021? Would _The Jungle_ be a Vox article titled "Meat Packing has Always Been a Feminist Issue - Covering it Up Won't Stop the Problem," if it came out today? I wish Jason would retire so he didn't undermine these issues, but everyone in the industry who would be given info to break stories like this will be just as bad as him.
