the only reason they are upset at palworld is because its a solid competitor.... that sold millions thats the only reason because they know when palworld 2 etc it might keep pc players that dont want a switch to stay on pc because we have a better pokemon type game

​@@sanane66543 I wholeheartedly agree when they have to make patents to try and sue a company that they weren't able to sue on normal merits of copyright infringement you know they're doing underhanded shit especially for the fact that they've sued multiple games into the ground for even having a capture system there is one game that I remember playing for 2 months before game freak had a suit into the ground and it had orbs that you could throw that would then explode into nets Inuit capture bears and cows and wolves and they would fight for you or run on Wheels making electricity or give you milk and help you explore dungeons by being combat pets the only similarities was you caught animals and you threw a orb now the fact that that orb exploded and turned into a net makes it completely different than a pokeball but they sued them for copyright infringement because you can capture animals and use them to fight that is the only reason given the fact that instead of Pokemon you know fictional creatures they were real life animals and given the fact that it was a survival like game where you can build a base which made it completely different from Pokemon which the fact that I had a free range exploration system and it even had dungeons made it completely different than Pokemon it was less than 5% similar to Pokemon it got sued into the ground 2 months after beta started

honestly it might be them testing out stuff. what may have happened is they were originally working on it for the switch with ilca but realized at a certain point maybe its better to create a dedicated studio for this new game because it grew too much in scale and so they cancelled the og version and made pokemon works to hold this new version of the game. its probably a switch 2 project at this point. Ive seen the images and videos and it looks interesting. at this point because of the leaks there is a chance this could get cancelled like with what happened with spiderman 2 dlc where it was planned but cancelled post insomniac leak. I guarantee a lot of stuff is going to get reworked or cancelled due to this leak. The reason i think they delayed ZA was because of the backlash to scarlet and violet because of the severe issues with framerate it has. if it didnt have those issues i would easily be a top 3 mainline title with how fun it was.

The paint gun isn't a weapon persay. The guy with the Smeargle is the guy you go to to paint on your Pokémon. He is holding the paint gun. The reason that this game doesn't exist on its own is because the mechanics were all integrated into SV. Being on a ride pokemon most of the game. Sending out a non ride pokemon to walk with, attack, and pick up items. The synchro machine then being able to play as a pokemon. Even the paint part is hinted at with Grafaiai.

This is probably why they're suing Palworld. It's obviously a different game doing its own thing but it and this new Rodeo game seem kind of similar in concept. I'm not sure how to feel about that yet.
