It warms my heart to see someone who loves their fur baby so much. GF don't let anyone throw shame your way. I have been training service dogs for the disabled for 20 years. I have 4 chihuahuas who are all service dogs. Live and spoil your baby all you want to, my only advice to you is socialize her to every type of person, noises, and other animals. I will be getting a female maltipoo puppy on Thursday, July 16th. I am beyond excited to pick her up. Her name is Nahla Paige and she's already SO spoiled! For 'Crate' training. Don't use an actual crate. You could buy a huge play pen for dogs & keep her in that. Don't use that crate as a trainging method.

I have a multipoo and they are so cute. They might get allergies because they are so close the the ground. Also their stomachs are very sensitive so you want to watch what your feeding them. I hope they are doing good right now and you are too.

Your dog is a small dog so she doesn't need elevated bowls because she's not bending down like big dogs would have to. And she doesn't need it. In fact it can be too high for her.

make sure to be careful when u start feeding her, a lot of puppy food recommends you to feed them it for a year when u really should only for six months, that’s how a lot of dogs end up overweight i know from experience

(June 2021) Congratulations! It’s always exciting getting a new puppy! I’ve currently got a 7yr old Australian cattle dog and we’ve just paid for our second one, we pick her up in 3-4 weeks!! Update (June 2024) We now have a 10 year old Australian cattle dog (Red Heeler) and a 3 year old Australian cattle dog (blue heeler). We also just got a 12 week old Border collie 😂 We are Australians and live on a farm, I was raised with working dogs so know how to handle them. If you do not have the time, experience and knowledge to have these breeds then please do not get one as they’re extremely difficult dogs if you don’t know what you’re doing. If you do not wish to heed this warning then please get a TON of mentally enriching items (go overboard with it and then some), get lots of dog rolls to cube up and use as treats, enrol in dog training (puppy class and then obedience classes after as well as scent work or something similar), have a daycare picked out, preferably one that is a farm daycare rather than a building type one. They are stubborn, listen when they want to and bark your ear off but what I have listed here will set you up for success with high energy breeds…they’re extremely expensive though so make sure you have good pet insurance and ensure you’re going to have $300 a week to be able to put towards their food and activities as well as insurance.

Girl put canned dog food in a ziploc bag, mush it up, and add 2 oz of her dry food to the bag as well. Put it in the fridge and then cut the corner off of the ziploc bag and pipe it into the puppy kongs, then freeze them!! She Will LOVE Them!! They’ve been a lifesaver with my standard poodle puppy. I don't suggest kennels as a crate. They are a little more comfortable but if your going to have a big dog than you're going to have to keep buying more kennels throughout their lifetime.

here is a tip if you have a Asian mom 1st is annoy her everyday by saying mom I want a puppy this will take years btw at least it did for me 2nd if she ask will you clean the poop pea take care and baths say yes confidently 3rd if they say be good first you be good by helping and everything they tell you to do you do it do your school work first before convincing them 4th go get to your local online shop and search the things that you will need for the dog then keep trying and maybe you will get one hope this helps.

From research I have been doing I found that the greenie dental chews are for ages 6 months and up (not trying to tell you what to give her) so you may have to wait until she is at least 6 months old or whatever your vet says. Food is a whole situation when it comes to dogs but in nature the animals they eat have usually ate grains or ate some that ate grains so I don’t see why grains would ever be bad I know if you do feed grain free like I have to due to my dogs allergies to chicken I always make sure I give her extra meat on top of her normal food to make up for the lost taurine in the grain free kibble
