Note to new moms: don't get bottle sets until you know for sure baby will take that certain bottle. Just bc your first liked one brand doesn't mean your second or third will. My second and third baby took the same brand. But each of my bubs preferred different bottles and pacifiers. Just get a baby list bottle box or get secondhand bottles and call it a day. There are tons of samples out there. Infant speech and feeding specialists recommend dr browns and soothies. 2/3 of my babies loved mam bottles. Especially my 32 weeker who struggled to latch onto anything and despised pacifiers + swaddles. Btw sterilizers are highly unnecessary in most cases. Just boil your bottles and parts before your first use and that's that. Waste of money. At most you'll only need it during the newborn phase if you EXCLUSIVELY FORMULA FEED (bc breastmilk is naturally sanitary as long as stuff gets washed and isn't sitting out till it spoils) so you should just ask your hospital for a few medela sterilizing bags. Seriously fullterm healthy babies survive and thrive without sterilizers. Wash with hot soapy water. It's just marketing. I would recommend sanitizing your powder formula during the newborn phase though (put your powder in steaming hot water to kill chronobactor a very deadly bacteria for newborns rarely found in powder formula).

I love the way you have such deep details about each product! I can really tell that you have used and enjoy the products you mentioned. I came here to say this! I also want to add that even when supervised, sleep in loungers such as dock a tots is still unsafe. Positional asphyxia is silent and can happen even when you're right next to them.

Her videos are good overall when she sticks to product discussion. However, she is not in a position to tell new parents that all newborns need certain supplements or probiotics because that's not the case. A baby's pediatrician should determine that. Also, telling new parents infant tummy troubles of discomfort are just part of the first few months of life is misinformation and dangerous.

Some companies sell variety packs, go with those. Keep packaging, tags, and whatnot for things so you can try and return them. Second hand expensive purchases are also a great idea. MOST SLEEPERS/LOUNGERS ARE NOT SAFE FOR A BABY TO SLEEP IN. Last and most important, longevity rules over looks and often price. Whether you want multiple kids or not, longevity is the place to look. If it's expensive and you don't need it for long, good quality products can be resold for great prices. The Stroller Workshop is a channel that is completely unbiased and tells you what strollers are the best, and isn't sponsored by any companies. I highly recommend taking a look at some of the videos when purchasing a stroller/pram.

Newborn stomach discomfort is not an expectation of the first 3 months of life. Some newborns have GI issues, but it is certainly not the norm. And if a baby is in discomfort, that is immediate and ongoing physician consultation. Babies in discomfort is an indication of a variety of things that can be wrong. Normally, it's diet related. Similarly, not all newborns automatically get Vit D drops and probiotics. It's not responsible to tell parents to automatically give infants supplements without the direction of the pediatrician. It is also dangerous to tell parents that newborns just have stomach distress and discomfort during the first few months of life. Most newborns are content when they are not crying to have a need met. And with proper evaluation and consultation with a pediatrician, many of those fussy discomforts can be rectified. It's abnormal for a newborn or infant to cry in discomfort.....Colic is one example of a whole lot of theory as to why babies cry at a specific time every day for a fixed perspective of time. And colic is a diagnosable situation that doesn't tend to occur in the first few weeks of life.

Your videos are so informative!! I’m a mom of 2 & learn something new in each of your videos. I have a question 🙋🏽♀️ I’m interested in the Doona car seat/stroller as well but I also have a toddler & am wondering how I would make that work. We currently have the baby jogger city select double stroller which I LOVE. Along with the Nuna pipa lx car seat that snaps into the stroller. Do you plan on switching between car seats depending on the day and activities planned for each day? Or is there some type of adapter for the Doona to go on a double stroller?

I like the Doona, but it depends on the parents lifestyle. The Doona is meant to be used as a car seat only, and for quick trips, ie quick grocery shopping trips. It's by no means a stroller that you can take on walks longer than 30 mins or for naps. It's been banned in Canada because it didn't pass the safety standards. Doona invested a lot in marketing in the US, and a lot of misinformed parents use it as a regular stroller and their babies are fine however, I rather just use a regular stroller. I have a joolz aer and love it. It's not as convenient as the Doona, but it gives me more peace of mind, it's very light and compact.

Nursing pillow preferences are so personal!! I was given both second hand the first time and I hated the My Brest Friend. I have a super long torso and it was just too thin. I actually got the boppy best latch also later on and stacked it on top of the regular boppy. And later on side lying and supported reclined nursing were so much easier. Haaka made a new product called the ladybug that tucks into a bra, so maybe good with a toddler in the house. Hoping I dont have to pump at all next time, but I need to investigate the willow and elvie because toddler help.😬😄 Love the huge haul so exciting!!!!♥️

I’ve read from other moms that it was too heavy for them, especially for those who had a c-section. And if you’re on the taller side it’s too short and struggle. I debated on getting one for so long but we went with a travel system instead so we could use even through the toddler stage. 🙂
