not sure if youre aware and just prefer your method or not but you can shoot those essence whisp clusters and kill them to make them drop all their essence xd, also there is an actual dodge(left ctrl by default-if you want to dodge without jumping :p also i think synchronius lotus is now in bunkers and vaults atleast thats where i found my first one yesterday. enjoying the playthrough though and i see you also love survival games ive enjoyed(conan,ark,palworld) so have subbed and plan to go watch all them too XD
