Love the video mate! I just bought a Traxxas X MAXX. Can't wait for it to arrive! I used to have a Losi 5T. Nothing but a money pit! I did all the upgrades to it...the servo brace, different clutch cover, outer wears, tuned pipe, kill switch, fancy billet pull start, Zenoah 32cc like the one you put in. Every time i took it out something would break and i wasn't even giving it a hard time. I sold it as it was a joke! They're not a tough RC. They're fun, yes! But not tough. I had a Traxxas Revo 3.3 nitro and that little thing copped so much more abuse than the Losi 5T and it never broke ANYTHING! For years! So much tougher rc. Losi end up costing you an arm and a leg after you've donated a kidney!

Xmaxx is such a great basher, really hope you enjoy, does need a few things done out the box, but once done oh boys such a great car. I get what you are saying on the Losi, but we are actually finding it super tough for what we do with it, the racing is hard, like days of thunder and it shocks me the abuse it takes given its size, at the same time i do find i work on it more than the other cars we have, but part of that's is because i actually enjoy working on it as its so easy to work on. Some parts are stupid cheap like arms, hinge pins etc, then other parts are stupid expensive, but they sure are fun to drive 😂😂

Definitely one of the most fun sides of the hobby, I miss my large scale collection. Tip; don't go crazy on 'run in' (idling) it builds up unnecessary heat and the 32 Zenoah really doesn't like heat build up. Run gently for half a tank, let it cool down, then start leaning out the carb a little bit, but the 32s do like the run a tiny bit on the rich side as well. As someone who RCs with my Dad, I love watching you out with your sons :)
