I managed to snap the plastic eyelet from the lower cap of the front left shocky on my 2nd battery rotation. So, just over 30 minutes.

You didn't explain what color of wires or positive or negative that you put in the aluminum foil was it both wires three wires I don't think you can just put two wires in there together bear

Its pretty clear if you you actually watch it. Does a LED bulb use 2 wires or 3 wires to power it ? red is positive in all countries for wiring. All this does it make a connection to carry to current from the ESC to the LED bulbs - its not rocket science

the level of entitlement of these BMX snowflakes is ridiculous... my 10 pound car is doing more damage then 100 pound kid? Theyre insufferable elitist babies, if the track is empty, i'll drive on it... they also conflate e-bikes/motocross to the same level of damage as an rc car, while pretending bmx bikes are floating everywhere doing no damage whatsoever...

Very nice video! Do you know if the ESC cuts power like the old version? I want to know because I think it's crucial for speedrunning when you pull a lot of power. because I can't decide between the mmx8s and the max 8g2 the mmx8s don't cut the power....

Hey Dave just wondering what spring options there are for the DR8? I'm guessing there's plenty of springs out there that would fit so I was wondering are you aware of what fits and works best? Also I notice the standard servo saver/Bell crank is weak as and I was wondering what you've done to yours ( just tighten the collar up on the spring?) or are there any full aluminium steering assembly's like GPM make for the Arrma's etc? Thanks so much..

To be honest havent touched the shocks or the servo saver, just put a better servos in. Only thing we have dont is fit some of the CRCU upgrades and put wider hex on. Im sure after 3rd party shock springs would fit, like arrma or tekno.

Asking a question on an older video as I'm an Arrma fan and only have their vehicles... That said, the X-Maxx would be my first Traxxas. Having nothing but EC5/IC5 batteries, what did you do for the X-Maxx, use an adapter, solder new connectors or buy Traxxas batteries?

Took the stock ESC out and put a Max6 in, you can likley sell the Traxxas ESC for close to what you paid for the Max6

Anyone else had an issue with their Hypergo’s 4WD ? It seems I have power only going to 1 wheel when it’s on the ground. If I pick it up it looks like all 4 wheels but under the slightest bit of resistance, only one wheel turns ?

With stock motor on Max6 ESC then rund 50/20 gearing, any higher and you will over heat

@ hey thanks but I have the hobby wing 1650kw motor with the ez run max 6 sec I’m trying to keep the wheeling down and the top end up as fast as it can obviously so I’m looking for like a 40 tooth hardened ring gear and like a 20-22 tooth pinion I appreciate any suggestions I’m pretty new to this hobby

Is the throtle progresive? I mean... it goes 0 or 100, or it can go progressively according how much pull the trigger?

@@HardcoreRC My budget is limited...so only one car for me. You present this one very awesomly, I like it. But I want trial as well, so when I set the limitation on controller and pull very gently, it is possible to go very slow to allow some crawling, right?

This is what my loaded granite is getting . It’s awesome with a 4s combo system from an outcast wide kit , shock tower protectors widening , 17mm hex’s , 4s lp s or stocks , both are great but the 4s lps for jumping is awesome brother , metal gears and 6s shocks fronts Kraton for the rear and mojave . The inky thing I’ve had go wrong is front shock screws pulled out but they’re lock nitted now and the plastic nub bump out underneath the shock bottom where it screws in has worn down to slowly grind away the eye of the shock where the screw goes in so aluminum or a button head domed screw to rub on the kcrc ramp before the arm . Thsts what ground the plastic away by the way 😂. Sorry I got carried away with all the excitement of of new arrmas unleashed and still love the one I have . 😊
