There's a product called Thigh Rescue by the brand Megababe. It's specifically designed for thigh chafing and I swear by it, it's so good.

YES! I bought Thigh Rescue for the first time last summer and it rescued my thighs, literally! I always got a bad rash after being in the ocean then walking because the salt water but putting this stuff on, I could walk the boardwalk and not be walking like a duck 😅

I have used a cheapy silicon based primer (like you would use on your face) for chaffing. It does work for me but I do need to reapply every few hours.

With the second dress, order the other size too. Whichever one you don't use, take it to a seamstress and have them turn it into a midi length. Boom, best of both worlds!

Hi, I have the same chaffing issue and use Body Glide. It seriously works and on a full day out in the sun shine I generally only have to reapply once or twice. I now wear shorts and body suits all summer and I love, love, love it!

Liquid talc from asda Is amazing for chaffing 👌 super cheap but so effective it's in the baby section and you just rub it on the chaffing area 😉

I actually love a little lace bottom bike short with flowy shorts or short skirts. Of course that was the outfit of my high school years so it’s nostalgic and I’m super excited their back. I love in ahoy humid climate so the drier I can keep the upper thigh area the less chafing so I do use a bit of clear antiperspirant on my inner thighs. My bf is a marathon runner so I can attest that body glide works. Not sure why I haven’t stolen his lol.

Asda sell liquid talc. I swear by it for chub rub. Snag tights chub rubs I also swear by. I love the shorts!! And I don’t actually mind seeing the black shorts under them (I actually like it). It looks purposeful and a fashion choice.

For chafing, I purchased some Snag tights anti chafing shorts. Havent done a test run yet but they have inclusive sizing up to 38 and fit true to size but are a bit long for my short legs haha. You could trial them for the channel??

Thank you for addressing the issues with shorts in size 26+. I just can't ever seem to find ones long enough to stop the rub but not so long they look like granny cullottes [I'm a 28/30 pear so my weight sits lower than you]! You could get a black camisole or vest dress to wear underneath the wrap around dress, it would have to be a bodycon style ..i think you might have an under dress from a haul a while back if you didn't send it back ... I was the person who suggested lace trimmed pair of cycle shorts to wear under the shorter dresses and they look lovely under shorts too with the pretty lace peeking out of the bottom...

There’s an amazing product called For Her its available from Amazon it’s made by a company that originally made it for bike racers it works wonders I wear it under dresser so no need for shorts

Just a quick hack. This stuff is by the brand Body Glide. If you buy the Body Glide blue branded one it is the same stuff. Sadly they cottoned on that women were using it for chaffing so put it in pink packaging and uped the price. Pink tax in practise.

Buy only what you’re 100% sure about. If it feels wrong, fit is off, fabric not great....then move on to something that makes you happy all around. You’ll have much better results. There were some good and not so good items in this haul, and you recognized them. The shorts are too full in the leg. I think more fitted legs would work better. Have you ever tried a skort, a short skirt with built in shorts beneath? I think they might be perfect for you.

Fyi...size 2 women camouflage parts of their bodies too..ever watch "say yes to the dress"? Its ok to beautifully cover disproportionate parts of your body. Not hide your whole body! You have killer legs! Highlighting the best parts is not insecurity. Showing everything does not empower. Knowing how to dress your body is power! Shorts look great on you.
