We do this because there aren't really any truly awful specs in the game. S tier represents the absolute best, clearly outperforming everyone else. A+ tier represents specs that are right below the best A tier is "high" - meaning a spec is still very strong, but with some minor weaknesses. B tier is "mid" - anything that is not too good, but not too bad either. They have more weaknesses, but can still be competitive. C tier is "low" - which are specs that have significant weaknesses that make them undesirably for competitive play. D tier is "trash" - which is any spec that has overwhelming weaknesses that cannot at all be viable in any form of high level play.

Greetings Champions! I am member of the World of Lovecraft dev team and I am here to share some of our honest thoughts/reasons behind our decisions. As you probably know we have zero idea about our game, so we needed collect data badly, but I am happy to report we have enough data now to make great decisions, we checked the PVE&PVP leaderboards and we learned from AWC mistakes too. Unfortunatly the data shows terrible results let me highlight some of them. At AWC we saw ~8 of 10 teams played with rogue / mage / rogue+mage. This is a terrible ratio, we deeply apologies for it, we all know that number should be 10 of 10. We will make adjusments to correct our mistakes. Rogue is fine, only another rogue can counter it (we will look forward for solutions for that too) but unfortunatly there are some classes which can be better than mages in some situation. As always the LOVE in World of Lovecraft stands for rouges and mages, dont worry the beloved RMP mirrors will be back. Also we can not hide the fact ~3 of 10 teams played with hunter and they were actually good / decent. We even more deeply apologies for that, we all know that number should be 0 of 10, we will make adjusments to correct our mistakes. About DK changes: We know the class is not broken at the highest level, but big problem for low rated players. It is a hard decision to make, should we balance the game for the 1% of the playerbase or for the 99%? After listening your feedback, we decided to fuck them all, they are playing with a lesser class anyway. About warlock changes: Dont worry guys demo will be meta and other lock specs will be dead soon as they should be (we are planing more changes in the future if these wont be enough). Aff will be back in another 5-10 years. About shadow priest changes: Dont worry mythic+ lovers, god comp will return soon. And finally, the biggest problem of all, the Hunters... We know the whole playerbase hate hunters, but dont worry guys, we hate them too. We succesfully deleted them from M+, now is the time to put them back in place in PVP too. Those animal lovers countered our mages for too long. To buff our mages: - we nerf BM Hunter single target ~10% (we buffed some of there abilitys, they are stupid as hell they will think they will be buffed lol :D) edit: unfortunatly they learned to read numbers, we nerf them 5% now and other nerfs coming soon :( - we nerf all hunters def cds badly. Hunters are netural/middle of the pack killing targets atm, we need to nerf that so they will die first all the time again as they should. Hopefully weakening the counter classes will make our mages S+++ Tier agian, but just to make sure we will buff I mean adjust their hero talents and buff their other spec further. Remember: We are listening, monitoring, learning! This is the best time to come back home! Epic adventure awaits!

Exactly. One school of damaging magic, no mobility, long cooldowns on CC (and their CC is short), no interrupt (just a 45 sec silence that’s only 3 sec). Maybe S is possible in coordinated 3v3, but not in solo shuffle.

Combined between EU and NA above 2100 there are 38 pres evokers and 6 rdruids, its an insane difference no matter how you look at it, and yet you put both specs in A tier? And you are an rdruid main, honest question do you get off when rdruid is bad and gets nerfed? Ask the best rdruids ( toonah, dex ) both will tell you rdruid is horrible. All claases are getting 4 set, and also to get 4 set you need to compromise some stats, for rogues as an example its not even worth to run 4 set because you lose too much mastery stat and lose on overall dmg.

I gave solo shuffle and pvp a chance in Dragonflight, got most PVP elite transmogs at least for all classes (1800 rating) with sweat and tears and alot of patience with looooong queues. Now when TWW hasn't improved at all, even may be worse than dragonflight - I lost interest in WoW PVP and will play other games instead. Lost 1 subscription.

In order to succeed on balance you have to sweat your balls off and hope to not get a 3 melee lobby Previous iterations you didn’t have to fake cast to precog clone just to keep damage down, you could be in moonkin or bear and be fine, bear doesn’t do nearly enough right now and makes it way harder to pilot to gain rating Tier lists are basically how easy is it to climb on this spec with super average performance

DK A+ LOLLLLl! Dk is not A+ as we speak not after these huge nerfs... Damage is not the criteria for what a spec is on the tier list... What about defences? Dk has infinite magic dmg midigation and YET he dies farely easy from casters... They hard target DKs hahahah! Not to mention physical dmg dealers... Nice game blizz...
