So unbelievably, as I posted this video... they UPDATED THE GAME 🤣🤣🤣 Edit: So apparently the update that just went live doesn't include everything I covered in the video - it's added Pick-a-Plant and reworked some of the early levels, Screen Door zombie has been added, but no new area etc. 😊

Taco time was by far my favorite feature of the original pvz3. If they now introduce some actual level design it might even become a decent game.

This is one of the biggest and probably the best update that I've ever seen from PvZ 3. Lots of cool updates, return of the pvz3 plants/zombies, picking plants, different stages with different elements, and taco time, i really love all of this! I just hope it goes well and nothing getd screws up because i wanna see PvZ 3 succeeded or just be a general fun game to play like the others. Can't wait to see it! :)

This game will need at least 10 years worth of substantial updates for me to even consider playing pvz3 over pvz2, as of now it’s still really boring. PvZ road trip looks fire, will be playing that instead

I'm happy they bring that Choose Your Seed feature and look what zombies are coming on several levels. But they reset everything, so I don't mind at all. From the video, Taco Time is extremely promising. I need that feature back. Other feature I want to see later are Plant Food, each area boosts the game [Like 2020 version did], replayable levels from each area [like 2020 version did], and the game level design: not spam too much zombies.

I see people are talking about the loot boxes, now I can't play the game yet but for what I can say from PvZ2's gameplay it's likely they'll either be used for customisations for plants, or used to get premium or duplicate plants for levelling them up (if PvZ3 adds the plant level system). I can see their concern, but, like with the "muh battlepass" hate comments, we have to wait and see how it's implemented.

for those who aren't aware, the taco character is used in the new tutorial section. it's the taco that dave eats in the beginning that causes him to fall asleep.

I still don't understand why PopCap wants us to switch to PVZ3. What new features or improvements does it bring in comparison to the previous 2 titles? In my opinion, PVZ2 was were they should have stopped, I don't see any need for a new sequel.
