Hi Joe, since I started to regularly watch Farming videos Ive become a lot more pro-farmers and farming. Watching you, Charlotte Ashley, Cammy -The Sheep Game and Tom Pemberton the love and care you have for your livestock really comes across even when they are doing their best to infuriate you.

Hi Joe your doing a fantastic job looking after your cattle. Take no notice of what the media say they couldn't do your job because they wouldn't last a day looking after cattle. Keep up the good work Joe I totally admire what you do on your farm yet again another excellent video

These people who write these anti farm stories have never been on a farm in their life and are the first to complain when food prices rise. Well said Joe.

I really can’t understand why people are having a go at farming. Are they that thick that they don’t know where their food comes from. From what I’ve seen a farm with a lot of stock have the best welfare. Thank you farmers, there’s a hell of a lot of people who appreciate what you do.

Well said Joe so many none farming people are right up themselves, where do they think there food comes from just supermarkets. I reckon people need to work or run their own farm to see how hard it is to make a living, and keep the people happy. I could go on but my blood pressure would boil over. Keep up the good work. PS it is good to let off steam now and then.

I agree with you farms have got bigger over the yrs but it means that smaller farmers have sold up and better the land be bought by other farmers than property developers who want to build on it. I worked on farms 30 yrs ago and they were always on about farms being to big, that’s not the case we could be self sufficient with our food. Like you the farm I was on I worked on a beef farm and we had a shop where we sold our produce our other farm was a dairy farm and that gave us the stock for the beef and the milk and its products to sell in the shop. You keep doing what your doing joe and help British farmers produce our own produce.

That exactly the problem. So called boffins, think tanks funded by gov or a charity. No accountability and often cherry picked or even false info. The reason is to starve us and that is not too strong a way of putting it. They want to turn us the way of the ussr. It's the same playbook with climate change. Look back at how it was termed in the past. Its changed at least 4 times. Look at speech and the control suddenly imposed. I'm not joking when I say the whole system is corrupt. I could go on with what they're teaching children and much more.

Look at how food has increased in price yet the farmer is getting much more. Its like their costs have increased yet the farmer's hasn't but the farmer's costs have increased massively.

The troubles had agitators starting them not the gen pub. That's the problem, reaction, solution was tougher rules not law because law takes time and this was done in days, aimed at normal people.

I am an irish beef farmer .I dont agree with having cattle in sheds in the summertime . Beef tastes better when cattle are grazing in the summertime in a less intensive system intensive system .having less product on the market and thereby getting a higher price for it .

Journalists famously have little idea of the subjects upon which they write. They write or converse on items chosen for them by their editors and paymasters. Pharmaceutical companies rarely own their own packaging production companies or build their own machines these specific items are contracted out. Likewise farmers can create a production line which is what modern format farming is. This is needed because the alternative is generating a vast fleet of ships, as in past history , to import all the food to feed 68 million people. If you raise this with journalists they change the subject. Why? I suggest they are in fact funded by foreign farming connections who wish to sell us their output. Much of our press is not owned or funded by our nationals. Keep on with your job and insist that Red Tractor relates not to packaging but to where the product was farmed and raised.

One thing the news and you joe are forgetting is that the new subsidies are pushing out small farmers like they did in the 90s when hundreds if not thousands of small farms were forced to sell up. But by the late 90s early 2000s the EU/UK changed subsidies again and having big farms didn't make as much sense. Big farms have plenty land they don't have to use and can claim big money for "rewilding" and planting trees now, while the smaller farms have to cut animal numbers to plant a few trees in the hope of getting enough money to just survive. Your dad will remember the mass sale of small farms between bse, poor compensation for having to cull and lack of suitable subsidies if you had little land

Good on you Joe, love the rant, I worked on a dairy farm 1982-97 so I know how much care goes into looking after the animals,. Was made redundant due to farm giving up dairy. Got a job with emergency services, loved my career in both. Social media wasn't a thing while on the farm but when I joined the 999 services I realised how dishonest the media are, keep ranting mate. Love the videos,, brings back great memories. Sorry don't normally comment but tonight it it a nerve.

A cattle dealer i knew In the seventy said beef farm would be come bigger but not as many ie in Lincolnshire. The hill farmer could supply beef to large outlet for finishing. Not as happen in seventy arable men finish only a few in small crew yard or park land not use for arable. Now plough in. Now arable are special arable units cannot believe how right he was Your bank manager must be good sell all your cattle you be millionaire if have 500 head on you farm

Basically joe what you been preaching for last 2 half years about cattle welfare hasn't made a scrap of difference. To what the public think of farmers . And where there food comes from. Personally I do like to see cattle outside grazing. And Dairy cows outside . But I am old school. That's what I was brought up with living on family farm .
