Crossing my fingers Capcom tags 'VR MODE'(For PS VR2) at the very end of the December RE9 reveal trailer, and that it releases simultaneously with the flatscreen/pancake version day one.

The reason why there's so much about Resident Evil 9 is because everyone is Hyping up the supposed "leaks" yet I high doubt these leaks are true and is nothing more than someone throwing shit out there to create a buzz. I've noticed a few things from the supposed "Play testers" claims. Such as when the play tester says in their leak "When Leon sees the ZOMBIES WITH AXES he makes a refrence to Raccoon CIty", like why Raccoon City? This game takes place long AFTER Leon saves Ashley from the Los Illuminatos, so wouldn't the Zombies with AXES remind him more of the Grenados than the zombies from Raccoon City? Seems like a massive hole there in the lore, and why does EVERYTHING have to remind him of Raccoon City? In both Remakes for RE2 and RE3 and in the original NONE OF THE ZOMBIES USED WEAPONS. There are other things this Play Test leaker has said that makes me question their statements, things that just seem odd to me. Honestly I really wish you guys would all just stop with throwing these leaks around and rumors, it's cool to speculate and what not, but how many times have there been leaks that turn out to be entirely wrong or false? More than there are leaks and Rumors that turn out to be true, that's for sure.

@@shushyshushy6762 I haven’t looked too far into these leaks and didn’t know about the “leaker” saying Leon referred to Raccoon City with Genado-like enemies (which I completely agree with you about). I personally am not a fan of leaks because I like the surprise but like I said I couldn’t avoid these leaks, they even were showing up on Facebook lol.

I Agree with everything you said in this video. It would be cool if they could find a way to have Claire Redfield in Resident Evil 9, & be in 3rd Person. It's just Claire Redfield is my favorite character 😅

Yeah, I really hope Claire would be in there. Maybe even Rebecca too. Like in Death Island--Hunnigan reached out to Rebecca, they could work together if Hunnigan does help Leon again! So I also hope Claire can fit in, even if she wasn't needed in RE6. She chose a different path to be a rescuer, not a fighter. But in REV2, we can clearly see how she can be included somehow :) This is what makes Claire so unique, I love her.

I honestly always thought zombies would make a return in RE9. Like we were to go back to the roots of RE such as RE1 through RE3. It seems like thats what most of us want. We've had so many games already with all of these other creatures, Las Plagas, megamycete, etc. But if we're gonna go that route, I do hope they bring back true survival horror at least. No Michael Bay action scenes, no quicktime events, no punching boulders, no over the top explosions. I think thats the only way this could work with or without zombies. Would also be great to have some open world elements, non-scripted enemy encounters, a lot of collectibles, references to other games and franchises, large selection of weapons and customization.

@@DawnPatrol21 I agree with you completely, someone however did bring to my attention that zombies at this point in the RE story just doesn’t make sense being that these viruses/parasites have evolved so much that simple zombies no longer fit. On the other hand we still will get remakes of older RE titles that do have the zombie enemies that we all want so it’s not so bad. Also like I stated in the video the Genados from RE4R were very good enemies (which surprised me) and if they go that route I think this game will be just fine, as for all the over the top action stuff I think Capcom realizes that we mostly want horror over action (which we saw that once again with RE4R) yes it had action but it wasn’t over the top/corny action like the OG game it was toned down a bit and made more grounded. Personally I don’t want an open world RE I think it would take away from the experience. I have seen too many games switch to open world and the game loses its identity, I would rather have a map like RE4R where its big enough to “feel” open worldish but not actually open world.

You’re right about supposive but it is slang word for supposably or supposedly and the last two were pronounced correctly I just speak fast and have an accent that you most likely have not heard before so it sounds like I missed syllables to the untrained ear. That formula that they were talking about that they think they found I think that's putting the action and horror into one game Leon is going to be more of an action story based and Jill's going to be more of a horror type gameplay what you would fit for both player bases we've had some people that prefer the more action if they can combine that with the Perry system that they made for re4 I really think it could be a legendary game with openworld would definitely be crazy and insane if they can pull it off

May not be up to anyone's expectation, but i would LOVE the idea of Resident Evil 9 to completely replace the campy corny dialogues containing a sense of bravado with deprecated morbid humors; yes i'm aware it is not in most of people's expectation but in my opinion it fits since this kind of joke are align with making light out of a situation that is macabre, grotesque and revolting, which is inherently distressing to us. If this approach executed correctly, then it would ironically make the game funny yet somehow scarier.

BUT most likely RE10 would be a reboot with all new characters and story elements.

@ it’s seriously crazy easy to code backwards compatibility or 2 versions , Sony wants that $$ for supply/ demand / just like the Apple and smart 4/8K TV’s. The ps5 will be phased out soon as well. It’s sad you can barely tell the difference in graphics & most just want to play the game, I don’t blame those who can afford access to shiny new things but it’ll soon be obsolete anyway ( $hamster wheel ) . Feel guilty for being a part of Sony/ Apple etc, So many consumers just can’t afford the cost of living/ rent let alone a new gaming system! Cookie cutter shot by shot remakes of old games like Silent hill 2 simply for 4/8k is only forced promo for profit. Sadly the only thing to do is a total switch to PC or another system but that costs $ 2/ new games save data so people stick with the greedy devil they know. Shame on Sony, but that’s how the world has always worked.

The only problem I see with a child from Ada and Leon is their relationship is kind of like Batman and Catwoman’s where of course they are in love but they are always on different sides and ultimately are not good for one another/wont take the plunge for anything serious.

How is this true when we finally get a leon and Jill meet up, I'm excited to see Jill non aging do too her infections while everyone else looks decrepit while being same age or younger then her I also feel since the wesker mind control only awakened her inner infections power she should be able to tap into that at times at least like dmc doess for the d trigger mode

If I had to guess after RE9, most likely the series would get a reboot with an entirely new story with new characters and of course we would still get remakes.
