I love the idea of Leon and Jill but I feel like these are fake because the first thing a play tester would want to communicate is the gameplay which is not mentioned once in these leaks eg. If the game is in 1st or 3rd person. No mention of player movement or if you can knife parry/kick enemies when stunned etc. Every plot detail seems rehashed from every previous RE game. I can read this “play tester’s” thought process like a book. 1.Rose’ blood being a cure. This is taken from Jake’s story line in RE6. 2.Enemies cult like worship of the moon and goatman. He’s Copying RE4 3.The witch stalker with big boobs 😂 he’s got that from Lady Dimitrescu. 4.Jill and Leon being infected again… taken from RE3 & RE4 Even the fact they’ve mentioned locations of a temple, beach, forrest and hospital etc how would a play tester be privy to all that? I’ve concluded there are only two possibilities here. Either the writers aren’t very creative of this leaker is full of shit.

Overall, I personally can/would believe these sets of leaks.. The only two things that raise my suspicions is Mr. Simons' name, it sounds WAY to casual, and not a cool or interesting name like every other character in the franchise. Plus, his name sounds dangerously similar to Derek Simmons from Resident Evil 6. I also find the potential 2024 release window quite odd, especially the speculation that these play-testers knew the the year Resident Evil 9 takes place, as the game would have mentioned "2024" in some facet during the limited play-test period.

From the rumours that i have heard,there were 2 people that did the play testing one was made to play test Jill Campaign and other was made to play test Leon Campaign. So, obviously this guy who played the Jill Campaign is saying like that because it was never even the intention of Capcom for him to play the Leon Campaign and they made it look like the entire game is about Jill because they wanted him to only focus on the Jill side and give his feedback. Hence,of course he would say that because that was the intention of Capcom and he exactly fell for what they wanted (I am not meaning it in a negative way but to show that he exactly went with the way they had planned things and does not even know that he is feeling like this because that was the whole point of what they planned to make it feel like a Jill only story set in a hospital which would help him get a deeper understanding of her character in this game) If you would ask the one who played the Leon Campaign,even he/she would say something like that where their explanation would be like it is a game where the Forest feels like the main location where the game is taking place with no mention of Jill. This is because you need to think from Capcom's perspective, they want both Leon and Jill to be the main characters so giving both of them individual campaigns to play without making the testers interact with each other makes more sense as it can avoid confusion or biases on their perspective of the game if they chatted with each other which would not give Capcom a clear direction in making modifications in the game

I do firmly believe that Leon will be in the game and same with Jill. And they'll both be the primary leads. However I do think that the Test Player was obviously only having a limited amount of knowledge to the game for spoiler purposes. However these new leaks with Leon and Jill and locations have been extremely consistent. Only way to truly know is to wait it out. But the concept of these leaks seem really interesting with the enemy types and stalker enemies. Also having Barry being a support character is a nice touch since we haven't seen him recently.

I think it will be Jill and Leon the hospital can’t be the main area it would be too much like the mansion from the first game. The island setting and zombies similar to RE4 fighting sound better I would really like to hear Barry and Chris on the radio hopfully it’s similar to how they did it in 4.
