@@bleaxch9560 How many times have you called the police haha? Every time I go into London, no matter where it is, either Central or Greater, I always police presence. Never had to call police from London, touch wood, but I can imagine the response time would be very fast. You should try visiting other countries and experience their emergency response times compared to the UK's.

2009: A civil peaceful protest became one of the biggest riots of the century and lasted 5 days (I think) and it affected england witch lead for the met to call in back up from other forces which is quite rare

Flynn The Met’s traffic division uses X5’s as well!

Traffic. If it's an X5 it's generally firearms, if it's got the asterisk on the roof, and the yellow circular stickers on the windows. Generally speaking, if it has a towbar on the back, it's traffic. My old response team briefly had an electric/Hybrid BMW X5 as it's area car. Initially we had a BMW 330D estate, then it changed to the X5.

Moscow 112/911: In the UK, the red lights are only on the rear of emergency vehicles. They are for extra protection whilst on scene. They should only be used when static, not on the move.

Pixie van. Has 2 cages at the back, used in these sort of situations where multiple arrests are likely, and a station van only holds 1 cage in the back. I work in the Met in a south borough, and regularly see the exact same van (same registration) parked up outside numerous police stations. I've been in the back of it once when two people got nicked a couple of years ago.

Police horses, so well groomed and well trained. Very nerving when they charge into you. I remembered when Millwall fans descended in huge numbers in Deptford, London and with my son being only 4yrs old at the time. If this cafe wasn't there at that precise time we would have got trampled for sure, it was literally seconds before I tossed my son to safety inside the cafe, away from those huge horses that started racing towards us, fully flipping charged up! 🏁 😱☕☕☕☕😳
