We mostly have the pull a part salvage yards here and they charge for every single piece so, if you don't need the screws you better take them out bc they charge for those too! It's ridiculous! Yea people(family)not caring on the tradition of their forfolks, to always have NEST egg. always first to complin about GOV (JUST MY OPINOIN) Don't message me in your concerns. most of the ones around PA disappeared while I was in the service, 96/2012 allot nice yards cashed in. Nice Yard, good stuff. like your realism in the price. 10's of dollars. no unrealistic prices, it is what was, man salvaged parts to save the next man a buck so they can fix their ride.

Back in high school in the early 90s, me and my motorhead friends (and even girlfriends on occasion) would pack lunches and go visit old salvage yards out in the country, 3 hours away at times. We’d eat sandwiches on top of old 1940s GM busses and check out acres of ancient iron. We may have snuck away with the occasional emblem but most often we’d pay the few bucks for them at the office. Yard owners were always nice about it. I believe at least some of these yards, with their old inventory, are still around today.

Hey MORTSKE 👋, thanks for sharing . Look like at one time that was a good place for getting used parts. It’s sad to see these places disappearing. Have a great day!

Studebaker motor on the 56/57. Only the 56 Golden Hawk had a Packard engine. In 57 they went to a 289 supercharged Studebaker engine on the Golden Hawk.

Amazing collection of parts, a lifetimes work, a shame it's future is to be cast to the four winds and broken up, another great resource to repairers lost
