Good evening, Joanne. I'm glad to see you again. It doesn't matter that you haven't introduced new parts for a while, the important thing is that you're fine. I'd love to see more sections about Sciroco. My goshawk injured his right leg. I had to use a very complicated procedure to treat him. (Disinfection with active silver, placement of fly larvae, removal after 12 hours, disinfection of the wound with 70% alcohol, oxytetracycline spray, antibiotic injection for 48 hours and antibiotic tablets for 24 hours for 8 days). It's okay now, but it will take a few months for the wound to completely disappear and the scales to grow. By that I mean that not every day is carefree. Even when something was wrong, the sun rises again in the morning. JT

Good evening Kristy; Awesome to hear from you. 😊 It will indeed be wonderful if it turns out to be one of our supporters who takes him on - sort of "keeping him in the family", after a fashion (should it play out that way). What is absolutely *key* for me is to find the *_right_* person for 'Scirocco', so if it takes a while, so be it. 😉 In the meantime, we'll continue to develop him, inclusive of taking 'Scirocco' into our work-related venues, (while minimizing his stress as much as possible). It will be sad to see him go, but I totally understand. You need to have proper temperament/aptitude to Excel in any given field. A great police dog doesn’t make a good pet, and is not recommended for most people in the public. Hugs, & scratches to both of you. Fair well, where ever you fair.

He is a 3-year old Peregrine x Gyr - an unusual hybrid to be sure, (we usually hear about Gyr x Peregrine hybrids).
