HUGE SHOPPiNG HAUL FOR OUR Gingerbread Contest & Setting It All up

No one, and I mean ABSOLUTELY NO ONE has ever commented this, but this is a woman that needs to be an educator in our education systems. Especially when she said "the kids have the option to work in pairs, or to work alone" this is a person who is AWARE of what young adults, even young children need. There are more examples of her but god, if our schools were filled with women like this in our schools, then I believe kids would feel like they have a sense of purpose and belonging. Her life is so grand, and great because she takes care of everyone around her. God sees it and blesses her accordingly. She not only takes care of her kids, she takes care of her churches kids, and her children's friends kids, family and friends. This world would be a better place if we had women like this in our education systems. This is a LOST art. I have been watching this women for years, I don't necessarily like her cooking (sorry) but i still watch everything from start to finish because it's so wholesome, you can actually see the effort. From the groceries, cooking, holidays, birthdays, gifts, weddings. She doesn't control, she allows her kids to have freedom to a safe extent. Our children who are suffering from depression would benefit so much from having a women like her in their vicinity. She openly shows her kids love. Who can hate this.

I’ve used mini wheats for the roof and cut up tootsie rolls to look like logs. So fun! I also baked my own gingerbread house, the smell is amazing!

Fun!! I enjoyed the gingerbread houses last year. Chocolate chips, mini red and green M&M's (usually in baking isle), skittles and Hershey's kisses (we found minis one year) were always some of my sons favorite additions to what came in the kits. Mini marshmallows also. Have fun!!

I believe you can buy a bucket of the buttercream icing at the bakery. Might be cheaper for the most used colors like white and green. You would have to get some piping bags and tips but they have plastic kits at the dollar store.

There is nothing wrong with keeping up with traditions. Especially if everyone still enjoys it. We use to have a tradtion, after my siblings started having kids. My brothers had to make sure that the boys toys, were strong enough. LolololoL 😂 😅 😂 My Aunt after every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Took her kids and my little sister to go see a movie!!!

This is expensive to do. However, for how many that are involved, it would not be that much. Cheaper than a night out drinking gor that age. Biggest part that many miss is the mere fact the memories that are made, family time, and celebrating the holiday is priceless. Good job as usual Mom Bell.

My kids and I eat ours. we love gingerbread cookies .those are like big cookies with lot icing and candy, we never throw them away they don't last very long. could also make sugar cookies in the shape of the house and use it to make the house instead of gingerbread,

Meanie! That’s Hailey and she brought McDonald’s (or something, I didn’t particularly look too close) in to eat while she shops with mom and Izzy. People do that sometimes when they are busy and need to multi task. That girl works hard cleaning and pkging the eggs, distributing them all over to the stores that sell them. AND often meets mom for all the shopping trips.
