Hi Sal, do you recommend using a sealer for grout on a floor like the one outside the shower? Seems like most grouts say they don't need to be sealed but seems like might be a good idea. Thanks, Tom

How much waste would you say that was? 25%?..... I also like how you stopped the walls where they are supposed to stop on top of the curb towards the outside. Just a little bump in or maybe an 1/8...... also like how you did 1/8 pitch for tub & then 1/4 . Very nice!!

Not in Spain!! But very difficult to get someone of this quality. Speaking after 20 years experience. The quality level has been reduced significantly as non-professionals offer lower bids and try to do it all. This is not against the Spanish workers, this has been created by workers from other countries. The general standard of work here is so far removed from this, it is not even laughable. Because of this, it is difficult to get school leavers who want to be a professional in a trade. Not everyone needs to go to university!! Nothing wrong with being a tradie of quality!! mike-barcelona

Impressive work as always. I'm not a fan of open bathrooms. You're either wasting water and energy to make the whole room comfortable to shower in or you're just miserable as you lean in and out of the water spray.

Why do so many people install giant curbs? It looks so much better with shorter, skinnier curbs. The top of the curb only needs to be 2” above the drain, so why build them 5” above the drain and 6” wide?

So at the far end from the drain, which is about 9 feet we have about a 2" height from the shower floor to just under the curb, you do the math

Those two tiles in the center of the shower are lighter than the rest and really stand out. My feeling is that if they had let you do it the way you wanted it probably would have looked better. 😂

@@rainmaker3700 fair price depending on what area that you may live in. $30 thousand easy as a starting point but up pricing for heated floors and especially if you’re running the electrical for the low voltage thermostat etc!
