Brother. This is not the proper way. May Allah guide you. You are to provide messages where Allah loves and shows mercy to the person, then the person automatically will obey Him. Loving will produce fear, to not upset Him. If you are to make the people so much scared of Him, they would feel sad, feel like they won’t be forgiven at all. Indeed, fear of Allah is important, but the fear must be produced out of love.

I thought Allah SwT only _dislikes_ people? Even in the Quran, to my knowledge, it doesn’t say Allah SwT hates anyone, just dislikes them/their actions or qualities. As for the Hadith that’s being quoted in this video (I believe it’s Riyad as-Salihin b387) has two different narrations; Abu Hurairah’s (May Allah be pleased with him) narration only talks about Allah SwT loving his slave- this is the one I’m familiar with-, while another narration done by Muslim, includes when Allah SwT hates a slave. I’m asking because I’ve heard Sheikhs in the past talk about how Allah SwT doesn’t hate anyone and they reference verses in the Quran which demonstrate exactly that- and this video goes against their positions.

I personally think that being humble is about trying your best to be kind, not to hold grudges, keeping an open mind, and being grateful for life no matter what BUT if you feel that someone is bad for your physical, mental, or spiritual state then it's okay to distance yourself from them because you are doing so to protect yourself; there is a balance. And it's also okay to feel hurt by others words or actions; it's how you react that determines what type of person you are. When you react, look at your intentions. For example, staying silent is good if you were about to say something hurtful or vengeful but if you intend to communicate that you were hurt by someone's actions in a respectful manner (with the intention to attempt to improve the situation and relationship), then you don't need to stay silent. Even sadder that the most loving, caring, kind, all-knowing, and merciful beings would hate one of His own creations so much that he'd make all His angels hate that person too.
