Loved iiiitttttttt!!!!! You find the best stuff. I would say rock the hat. They donated it or it was donated and if no one wears it cause they didn’t serve on that ship it’ll go in the trash. And that’s worse to me. So I think giving it another life is cool and blue and yellow is a look. The way you styled it was fantastic. I love those pants! I also think you could wear those suspenders with those cargo pants. Like strap them onto the pants and then let them hang down ya know? do you have any tips on how to best shop at park ave? i go to the marietta one on the weekends and i'm usually able to find a few decent things but not nearlyy as many gems as you!

A common misconception is all of these items are purchased at once. These items are purchase over the course of a few weeks. I sometimes can only walk out with one item and I try again next week. I try not to go Thrifting on the weekends because it’s over crowded. I try to go on Monday’s or Thursdays. I check every section, the men’s section is my FAV! I also don’t go with expectations, instead I go for fun abs with an open mind. I plan to film a video soon on my best tips to find quality items at the thrift store. Stay tuned.

Thanks Chole. I almost always try on all of my men’s wear pieces. I’m never concerned about the size but about the overall fit. With that being said, I never look at the size. My suggestion is to try on your pieces. If they fit like you want, get them. If you chose to look at the size I’d say purchase a few pants that fit similarly and take the average size. Vintage sizes are different from modern sizing. I refrain from looking at the sizes of bottoms because it will mess with my positive body image. I hope this helps.

So, are you able to try on in the dressing rooms where you thrift? They totally are not allowing it and even retail stores are still not doing the dressing rooms in my location. I was just asking because you thrift items that are so complimentary to you figure and hang just right. What techniques do you use in your thrifting? The only one I know about is the waistline, that if both ends meet around your neck it should fit but I consider that only works for those not gifted in the rump or hip areas. Do you ever buy something that a nope? I really like the mindset of using the trouser/cargo pant like sweat/track pants with a more style flare options. Our dressing rooms here in Georgia are open. There are several pieces that I try on that do not work and I leave them at the store. I know my body; so I pretty much can tell with the eye test whether I can fit the item or not. I almost always size up so that my butt and thighs can fit into the bottoms. If I need to take in the waist I will; or I do a few style hacks to make them fit my waist perfectly.
