i got it for free with my cpu and just played the intro, i haven't disliked anything yet. it does feel a little floaty when you turn though, thats honestly the only thing thats bothered me so far.

Ditto. I waited at least a month after purchasing the game on Day One to get all of the patches done and I can't stop playing it. Finished the game and I'm going back to do some other missions. Wish I would have waited playing it before the HUGE update tomorrow though.

Because the enemy AI is laughable, the character punches troopers with her fist, the graphics look like a PS3 game, and they knowingly released an unfinished game for tons of money.

Glad Ubisoft is addressing all the crazy rifle drops, but they were actually easy to work around by creatively using Nix (e.g., he can deliver rifles you dropped up ladders, cliffs & even through ducts).

@sheriffjbunnell2392 i wouldn't call an abnormal character design woke. If thats the case then all ps1 characters and elder scrolls characters are woke. Its just an error of the artists eye. Kinda like how people dont notice physical details of their own bodies til they are almost in their 30s.

I want to see Boba Fett chasing me around in his ship trying to kill me. I want to be able to jump onto a stormtrooper’s speeder bike, just like Luke and Leia did. You should be able to steal other ships and stuff like that.

Some of the game is fun. Sometimes the characters look older. The game had a gamebreaking bugs. Tons of bugs. An unfinished game. Yes it is good they are fixing stuff and making things better. They should. We gotta stop accepting unfinished games period. I hope they release it again with dlc and all the fixes and updates one day. More diversity in outfits would be cool for everyone and stuff.

I like the trajectory of the game and the effort the devs are making on Star Wars Outlaws but can I suggest special events or special bounties like taking on an Inquisitor because at this point Vader is using them and a Rampaging Rancor also as a high end bounty. And I would like to see free fire blaster fire on the speeder and speeder cosmetics that let you pilot a speeder like the empire used in ROTJ as that is iconic and my favourite 😍. Oh and how about a stormtrooper inspired cosmetic for Kay with the helmet to boot.

The changes to the “found” weapons not being dropped so often are definitely massive “Quality of Life” improvements, but I’m most interested to see these new defeat animations, hit reactions and weak points. I’m with you on already being pleased with the existing animations, so it will be exciting to see what they’ve done to improve them further. Weak points sound interesting because of the phrasing about “at the right moment”, which makes it sound like it could be a case if temporary weak points; for example, troopers’ arms might be more susceptible during Grenade-Throwing animations or something. I look forward to post-patch when people can delve a little deeper into what these changes are.

@@alebone_ Good question. I'd say for the current PS5/Xbox Series consoles probably about 45%. Ratchet&Clank:A Rift Apart,Spider-Man 2,Star Wars Jedi Survivor could be played on the disc but with a lot of graphical glitches. A few other current games could be played on the disc no problem but they weren't on the radar of the big commercial media eye like games like Call Of Duty and the like.

I wish they made more gear mods or attributes whatsoever you want to call it. I don't know it could just me but i noticed some gear attributes pretty much repeats in different gear pieces, especially adrenaline thing. They should like if you got this jacket it gives you 10% more armour or crit chance staff like that. Make it more like division in space with gear and weapons.

I’ll check in on Outlaws in August 2025, after a full year of patching/updating. If the gameplay is cleaned up, and if the price is right, I might consider it. Meanwhile, good vid and it makes me hopeful that Outlaws May some day live up to the Star Wars namesake.

Really love this game and can’t understand the hate it’s been getting - even so far as to affect Ubisoft stock prices. Really hope they come out with a PSSR update for the PS5 Pro soon. I’m pretty sure it’s on Sony to fix, but whoever needs to fix it, I hope it’s soon! The artifacts are really quite annoying. Great video and I’m subscribing now!

I played the game for a couple weeks at release with Ubi+ and I thought the game had a lot of big fundamental problems but overall I kinda enjoyed the game. I will probably subscribe for another month once all the DLC is out so I can play the finished game after all the content and updates are out. I think the worst part about the game was Kay, her dialogue is way too errm awkward quirky and It got so fucking annoying after a few hours. Also the ending of the story was anticlimactic and horrible so hopefully the stories in the DLC is better than the base game.

I love the game too , but here is the problem...the internet , and lack of Ubisoft to read the landscape. Stellar Blade came out in April and the reaction to that game was insane because of the way the Character looked , the beauty of Eve her costumes etc, she has movie star appeal. The character model for Kay does not even resemble Humberly , who is beautiful , this may seem trivial , but it is important. Triple A games have mass appeal because of the quality and western trends have recently had a problem embracing female beauty , they do not want to cater to the male gaze or female gaze for that matter and so we get Kay instead of Humberly...Imagine if Holywood adopted this trend..Imagine Rey from Star Wars looking plain and a little out of shape to conform to a modern audience ? Imagine a fat Finn...I applaud diversity equality and inclusion and agree with the premise , but , let's be real if you want to market a product to a mass audience , please do your research. It is not too late to make Kay look exactly like Humberly I believe updating her looks and this dlc would make a huge difference and improve sales across the board.

I definitely wouldn't waste my money on this game.. i paid $17 try it on ubisoft plus for one month . Then canceled it. That was enough for me to know that i dont like the game.

Not hating, just reacting. The gameplay you show here does look fun, but the visuals are very muddy and lack color or definition that Jedi Survivor had. The best example is early on with the rotary gun shield trooper and when you pick up the gun. It just looks blurry and last gen compared to the models on Survivor. As far as updates, how about they let the character look like the voice actor for Kay? The existing character model feels lifeless and a compromise between all hair styles, all skin tones, all facial types. Maybe if they would let us customize her a little? I'm glad people are enjoying the game but the visuals and broken stealth mechanics just aren't going to earn my money when there are other open world stealth/combat games that are just better. Even the visuals from Rise (and Shadow) of the Tomb Raider look better and they are older games now. Again, not trying to hate on it, just an honest critique.

I just finished playing the new DLC and for me it was a big disappointment. It short not enough side missions at all. Plus they still didn’t get rid of the Abandoned Hideout glitch at all. Also you still can’t go back to Cantonica. This was a big waste of time. It looks like nobody can do Star Wars games justice. Ubisoft, EA, and LEGO are pitiful when it comes to Star Wars games.
