Real anglers who know what they 're doing. I like that a lot, and that's the thing. If we share the information like this anglers of all skill levels will inherently become catch-and-release fishermen. Great Job!

@goga56 Ya, i agree, especially on those big nice trout. They keep the heck out of perch and walleye though.

BILL BILL BILL BILL NYE THE FISHING GUY!
@gregoir14 жыл бұрын
sorry...locally I meant Cleveland area(Northfield)....the rainbow's are stocked from michiga n from what I hear, some of the "lucky one's" that I c.p.r. are one's that get stuck in a pool or come from the canal/river into trib's...can't say it enough,nothin like NY!
@KidODeath50014 жыл бұрын
how many fish did u catch all together and i responded to ur message so when u get a chance check them
@gregoir14 жыл бұрын
@sbskater.....there are Rainbow here too! they stock em all over...I've caught a bunch n my 1'st steelie localy since I moved from NY lol"just gotta poke around" sorry Bill if I"invaded"lol trout fishing isn't ANYTHING like it is in NY...but there are rainbow's...steelhead are supposedly rainbow's that migr8?...Bill can explain it better...if u look n fish real hard u can actually catch n8ive rainbow in Ohio,(mom n dad fish lol are stocked here,then they reproduce)

how would you consider selling your jigs on ebay
@EFISHANT13 жыл бұрын
ahhhhhhh.....the color does not determine whether it's a steelhead or a rainbow - the difference is whether it migrates to a big lake or ocean! the steelhead and the rainbow are genetically identical!
@chrystal9753112 жыл бұрын
Awesome, but after u telling your friend 100 different times to let it go? kinda lame, but he knocked the shit out of em.
@EFISHANT13 жыл бұрын
the only way you can definitively identify a steelhead is by the fin clip- unless it is a Skamania which I doubt you guys have! There is no difference between a steelhead and a big rainbow -NONE!

@ROADSNAKE90ROADSNAKE No I am someone who actually cares about fish instead of someone who posts videos of what NOT to do. These are nice fish and good on you for getting into them, but please handle them with a little more respect? Laying them in mud, bashing on rocks, are things which remove protective slime which helps fish fight disease and infection. Instead of calling people names and getting childish, learn how to handle fish, especially these great specimens.

nice video! and brian peace must be the perfect catch and release fisherman, he has never pulled a steelhead into stained water while landing one. he has never gut hooked a fish, or seen a run of salmon or trout jumping over a falls or dam just to repeatedly nose dive into a wall of rock. He is your typical over thinking over critical analyst who thinks he owns the river. HAVE YOU EVER SEEN HOW THE HATCHERY HANDLES FISH?
