Huge Street Scrap Score! 268 Kg's Copper Motors in Trash?

Wow, What a great street scrapping day!
Started off with a bang! I couldn't believe the huge pile of electric motors sitting there waiting for me, Washing machine motors that are brand new it looks.
268 Kg's or 590 Lb's of 'em!
Just don't know what around the corner when curbside picking, today's find was one of the most bizarre ever.

You and Scrap Vulture are my favorites. Tonight I got 2 micro-waves, audio equiptment, and about 30 boxes of 6 boxes/ per box of tea. Yesterday I found a end-table and a student sized acoustic guitar( 2 broken strings), completely repairable and functional - no cracks, just a couple of dings in the wood. Love yer vids, brother..............keep rockin'.

awesome mate, it's amazing what you can find if you just go look, and it's not just the value, it's recovering it from what would be trash is the bonus for you and for the worlds resources, people take trash for granted, scrappers are helping to keep the world sustainable

Ben, you kill me, please pull your van over to motherloads like those motors, it will be so much quicker and easier😂🤩. I know this vid is a year old but you still do it, like with the case of gaming/pc stuff where he gave you the pc cases I think it was, although I watch so many of your old bids in a day I could be muddled. Anyway I'd have totally carried the suitcase over, emptied it in the van and taken the case back. But I guess it is one of your endearing habits that we love you for 😄 Keep up the awesome vids! People are so wasteful its so sad the amount of gear people throwout that I could otherwise use or scrap. have perfectly good lawn mowers, washers, dryers, cookers, computers, motors, bicycles. Some people cant even afford this stuff not even a bike, they would be happy to get anything free that still works.

Washing Machine motors are awesome - they run on AC or DC (it's a Universal motor). If you're into prepping, keep a few. Run 'em on mains, batteries, or solar.
