I agree about David'sTea quality. Their products seem to be raising in price, but lowering in "included features" and/or quality. Also HATE how they are turning nearly all of their teas into "seasonal offerings". People like specific flavors and only being able to get them for a couple months of the year does not equate to good business models... I have been searching other brands for replicas of my favorite David's Tea flavors for a while now...

Yeah it's unfortunate :( They've discontinued almost all of my favorite teas, so I'm feeling the same way. I haven't bought teaware from them in probably over a year at this point.

My boyfriend is moaning that my collection is starting to get a bit big (I think I have around 430 different teas right now) but you can't become a tea channel like Dana without lots of tea 😜

Also, I’ve never tried anything from DAVIDsTEA, but I love celestial seasonings and I’ve had quite a few from them. Please do some reviews on that brand as well.

Love this video! What matcha do you use when you make a cold bomb? I know you use cold 911 tea.

I preferred to use a straight matcha, like Grand Cru, but some of my old co-workers liked using peppermint matcha!! I haven't had the chance to try the reformulated Cold 911. I hope it's as good as the original version!!

Ya know… everyone has those teas they’re afraid to run out of. Mine is (please don’t laugh) Tie dye butterfly. I love that!! I ordered some & then it was gone. I have no way of knowing if they’re ever going to re-release it again I just love that tea so much and I am coveting every cup! If anyone knows where to get it, please tell me! Once in a while you can find rarities on eBay or like the Walmart website

Emily Vu Honestly, I think while the quality has gone down in some ways, it’s still really good tea. There’s a ton of flavors and most (not all) are pretty tasty. There’s such a wide variety, so you’ll always be able to find something you’ll like. The one difficulty is that they discontinue flavors randomly and quickly, there’s not many that you can rely on to always be around. Hopefully this helps!

I still enjoy their tea and blends. It's the teaware that I've noticed declining in quality, and the fact that they discontinue so many teas is frustrating and makes me not want to get too into a new blend 😢 They still do have some amazing teas though.

When does tea expire?

It technically doesn't expire. It will start to lose flavor after a while, but tea shouldn't ever go bad. If it contains fruit pieces or things like chocolate you should keep an extra close eye on it since those are perishable. As long as it's in an airtight, opaque tin it should last a pretty long time though!
