If you're going to start doing heat embossing, get an old sock (preferably white) and put some cornflour or talcum powder in it and tie it in a knot. Rub it over your cardstock before stamping. It removes static and results in a cleaner image as if you don't remove the static you can end up with a smudged image because the powder will stick to static areas. I've never tried temu embossing powders.

Not sure if anyone responded yet, but embossing powder and mica powder are totally different. It may be possible to mix the mica powder, but it does not have the melting qualities. Mica would rub off the card if used by itself, so would need to be spayed with a craft spray. I use mica with polymer clay. Also, hair dryers are not hot enough to melt embossing powder. Thanks for the great video!

I was going to jump in and say the same thing. Also, don't 'brush off the embossing powder" - it will come off. Use an 'antistatic tool/bag' before stamping the versamark. That will help the powder to not stick to any place you don't want embossed.

Mica powder won't work with versa mark ink. But besides using different colors of powder-try this instead. Buy colors of pigment ink and use clear embossing powder.

I've been so impressed with the quality and design options of their garden flags. That's definitely the best pill cutter. I had a newborn with acid reflux, and we had to cut his quick dissolve pills in half. None of the other types worked without smashing the entire pill.

That's a great haul! I've been down the Temu rabbit hole myself (I'm wearing a nightgown from Temu as I type this), and I've already added a few things from your list to my cart. Good morning! I am new to Diamond Art Painting but I am learning a lot from YT and FB. I have ordered some Blue Tack from Temu because it supposedly last longer than the pink wax that comes with the kit. I also learned about using Washi tape on the outside of your canvas where there is a little bit of overspray from the glue. It helps keep dust from sticking or my arm. lol

I use the Swedish dish cloth to clean my stamps…I keep it in a container and it stays moist for quite awhile. 🙂 just wipe the stamp on it and store the stamp away..easy and quick!

Yes, you need an embossing gun not a hair dryer to do embossing and you need embossing powder not mica powder to do embossing I hope that helps.

People say bad things about Temu but if you buy from WalMart marketplace, Amazon or most other distributors it’s a lot of the same products at a higher price. Temu has tracking for packages, I had two shipped at the same time that became lost with USPS. Temu gave me a refund no problem.

I don't know if this has been answered or not, but mica powders and embossing powders are two ENTIRELY different things, and DO NOT mix!! Mica powder is rock (mica) that is pulverized to powder and then colored. It is iridescent and must be applied in a particular way or it will brush or wipe off of the substrate it is applied to. Embossing powder is tiny pieces of colored plastic. You can use embossing ink, dye or pigment ink, glycerin pads or even water to make the powder stick to the shape that has been stamped or drawn onto the substrate. The embossing process -- applying high heat to the powder-- melts it into place onto the substrate, leaving a 3D image. Both can be very effective, but provide totally different results.

I love Temu and watching Temu hauls!! You got a lot of great things! I've gotten a few shirts from them, and they are great. I also get all of my diamond paintings from there too, and I gotta say, I got a diamond painting as a gift from an actual diamond painting store and I actually prefer Temus better! I have random drills popping off with the more expensive one that I never experience with the Temu ones! Have you tried the rulers you got in your last haul? What did you think of them?
