I love Temu. You never quite know what you will come across on there. I’ve bought so many great, interesting, weird, unique,and useful items over the past year and a half. Temu shopper here . Really like their sterling silver jewelry. Lingerie is very good considering it’s Temu. Their clothing is sketchy most tacky polyester, just gotta check what material is made from . Shoes are cheaply made. Thanks 4 sharing ur haul w us ! ❤

They rip off small artists, that's when I cancelled an order that hadn't shipped yet, and it's not a "dupe", they quite literally take the artwork and use it, which is copyright infringement. Since my parents, who owned their own successful art studio went through a months long copyright suit back in the 90's, I have zero tolerance for it. My parents ultimately came to a settlement, because of the toll it was taking on the family and the business, and the settlement included the large company that ripped my parents off to admit on the record that they did mislead my parents and absolutely commited a crime. These types of things are not victimless crimes, I wanted to give Temu the benefit of the doubt, but after the 8 Tarot decks I ordered, and looking up the small independent artists they ripped off from, it made me sick.

I wanted a button maker and they had by far the cheapest price for the same thing that was being sold elsewhere at highly variable prices. But to get free shipping you have to buy a certain amount,so I just got a bunch little household necessaries that are probably made by the same factories as what would show up at a dollar store, which keep their stores at really low staffing levels for really low worker pay, so not much lost - perhaps a net local employment gain if we consider to-the-door delivery. But yes, very obvious that anything more expensive or nice was a copy.

Same. I do not wear high-percent polyester and I’ve bought a few 100% cotton, or 95% cotton/ 5% polyester. I have two nightgowns from Temu that are rayon, which is breathable and quite nice. I’ve been impressed with their stainless steel jewelry. It doesn’t have plate that wears off, and it doesn’t tarnish or turn colours. Of course, they do have 925 sterling, as well. I bought one designer dupe bag that it amazing. It is absolutely beautiful and so well made. I don’t buy often, but have been lucky to have found some great things. ❤

I have found that only the rose gold jewelry items tarnish. I have gold and silver items for about a year and still look very good. I only buy clothing if the fabric is 100% cotton or linen and even then you sometimes get a knockoff of the knockoff! I really dislike the clothing that arrived feeling like shower curtain material. Kitchen items have been good and so do my art supplies, but watch out sometimes cost more than the local stores.

I'm always cautious about clothes and shoes on Temu. The size charts help but not always accurate. And fabrics seem to be really thin. what you would think was flannel is usually thin polyester knit or 'dress weight' is polyester scarf material. Read the reviews of customers, but take comments like 'just my size' with a grain of salt. See pictures if available. Does she look like 20 pounds of potatoes in a 10 pound sack? Use your judgement and how you like your clothes to fit. loose? just right? good luck. I only order house type shoes and hope for best. Gadgets are my weakness.

Keep in mind that copyright laws do not apply in all countries. A lot of Asian countries do not have the same laws. I traveled to the Philippines several years ago and there were rip off items for sale in the 23 level malls.
