Sadly I’m gonna be closing my vintage booth, vintage has not been selling well where I am in okla. plus booth rent keeps going up, so that has cemented my decision. I still have a smaller booth, where I sell tshirts, cups,stickers,jewelry, hair accessories and whatever else I can think of😬 I did go to a couple garage sales his morning, and found some old jars with galvanized lids, for my personal collection. Do you ever garage sale?? That was very smart to display your mamas picture that way. I wouldn’t have thought of that.just love, love , love you girl❤️❤️

I know I have said this before but you are so so lucky that James can do so much especially woodworking oh by are you lucky. They are to decorate your wax candles. I have two fleur-de-lis ones that I put in front of my candles, and set them on my candleholders. You just push them in what a score. Just a quick word of advice- I tried selling jewelry in my booth (I’ve studied jewelry for many years and am a certified gemologist so I know my stuff) but we had some of our jewelry stolen. It’s super easy to do because even though there are security cameras in our antique mall they can’t see everything. I stopped selling jewelry there because it just isn’t worth it. I hope it works for you because you have some beautiful pieces to share!❤❤If you have a locked cabinet to display it in that would be perfect!

Hi Donna. I went antiquing and thought about you. I found a rooster lamp with a burlap shade for $129.99 firm. The rooster was like your technique but with cream and gray. It was so pretty! Also, that little metal jewelry case with the velvet lining that your gonna repair the leg would be cute with your business cards in. So vintage! Hobby Lobby has black felt like jewelry display pieces you could use with your vintage jewelry. They are back in the jewelry crafting area. If your interested. Deb is so hilarious. I just love your Mom. Such a sweetheart! She needs to get a T-shirt made about loving thriftin and doing her little Pfft pfft thing she does for good luck! Donna, I have the same picture above your shelf f the farmhouse porch with the pumpkin on the porch. It is a favorite and people always comment on it. I live in Phio and our GW's don't have bag walls, but they did try some at Christmas and they had them priced anywhere from 5.99 to 7.99 for ornaments that were broken or missing pieces etc. I wasn;t willing to pay that much for 1 item out of it and then redonate the other back...Also here in Ohio they have fgone from Goodwill Thrift to Goodwill Retail, whichto me says the pricing is comparable to a wlamart or TJ MAXX STORE...The stars and fluer de leis, could they be used like thumb tacks on a message board??? I hate that Goodwill is doing that. It’s all donated and should be sold at thrift store prices. I quit donating to them for that very reason. I love that picture. Donna, you and James are doing a great job so far with the booth! Great thrifting with your momma, too! I know it won't be long before some money starts coming in! I used to have a booth at one time too, and I want to give you a tip - always price things to move. Some people will put too high a price on their merchandise, and it just sits there like it was a museum. Don't give the stuff away either, but be realistic about the fair value of your stuff. Think about how much you would want to pay for an item yourself and price it like that. You are going to do just fine! So proud of you! 👏👏👏 😊

Please don't recover the cover on the chair unless it is damaged. It looks beautiful to me and possibly only needs cleaning. As to the items you asked for information about, I think that they may be thumbtacks for bulletin boards. If the posts on the back come to a point then I am correct. Before I retired I had some similar ones for the board in my office. They are much classier than plain old thumbtacks.

Good morning! Just an idea for your dollhouse bakers rack…use it as a display for some of the jewelry, like the pins. When I had an antique booth doll house furniture did sell, so you could also put. A price tag on it. Another tip- keep a few inexpensive items for children in your booth. Many times kids shop with parents and grandparents and will want to buy something. Beanie Babies sold well to children.
