The Pteranodon sternbergi was another species of pteranodon (other species Pteranodon longiceps). Longiceps lived in North America while the Sternbergi was in Europe.

Pteranodon Sternbergi is a subspecies of Pteranodon called "Geosternbergia". Not many people know about it, but it's still mentioned in figurines and video games! (basically a pteranodon with a bigger crest I think?)
