Felix felecis and onyx hippogriff were pre-order bonuses. Felix Felecis basically turns on Revellio for a full day cycle, meaning you don't have to keep casting it.

They won’t be adding that as they are working on a standalone multiplayer quidditch game. That was a thing in the early stages of the release of this and they dropped that they didn’t do it in this game because of the upcoming stand alone game.

A welcomed update, but also a very small update. Was hoping for two things especially: ability to sit and more player character slots. There are other playable things I would've liked and I do have an extensive wish list. The cauldron shop at Hogsmeade selling cauldrons. More RoR and vivarium decorative items (fireplace, interactive drink and food, floating candles at the ceiling, vivarium objects usable in the RoR.)

@@darthseverus89 just because other communities had it worse, doesnt mean you should accept whatever scraps are thrown at you. Thats not how logic works. Besides, I was mainly talking about the wording used in the title of the vid which made it sound like they were adding big things to HL. The updates listed in this video are mainly exclusive stuff that theyre allowing other platforms to finally play, which is simply content that already existed but was arbitrarily withheld, and some minor QoL tweaks and cosmetics. I would not call any of that HUGE by any stretch of the imagination. And just to repeat, MC has a notoriously slow update cycle amongst games. Comparing any game's update frequency to that is like comparing the running speed of an overweight man to a grandma and saying you should be grateful that the man is at least faster than the grandma.

None of this is exciting because a lot of us already had or used the content that they're repacking. 1. Slam a Felix Felicis 2. Jump on Onyx Hippogriff 3. Use Felix Felicis to solve the "oh so hard maze" from new quest. 4. New content is over in 20 minutes. This is actually sad and not really worth even redownloading. All of the quests in the game are either "do or do not" there is no try so Felix Felicis is pretty much useless, it's not like there is a persuasion skill in the game. They just added these pretty much mostly cosmetics to get players to log back in and be like "oh.... yeah... one quest to do.... what a banger of an update, glad I did this all four of my toons". lol.

I’d like to have player characters being able to sit down in chairs, lay down in beds, etc. I truly don’t really care about photo mode.. Being able to reset talent points is meh..

Companion for sure, but Quidditch absolutely. Throw in some lycanthrope and more dragons and you are cooking with gas.

Also if you fly around the quidditch pitch on the grounds you would see that it’s too small and having the appropriate amount of players with all of the balls wizzing around it would feel cramped. Also programming each position and AI for all the players and balls in a way that didn’t feel like a watered down version of quidditch would’ve been tough. I’m sure it will be a main feature of the sequel and if not then there’s a separate quidditch game coming.

I would have liked the bonus exclusive shop quest to have been available last summer. Now it is pretty much worthless to me. The other items like the Onyx Griffin I already have. As far as additional brooms or flying creatures they are all worthless to me as I get motion-sick when trying to fly.

As to your point at the end of the video about wanting year 6 and 7, that will most likely be seperates games for each years. It’s highly likely that Hogwarts Legacy will be a Trilogy 1 game per year. Similar to how Mass Effect was a trilogy. It also seems likely that you will be able to import your save into the next game.

This isn't actually releasing any updates. They're just unlocking all the exclusive preorder and ps5 items for everyone. So for people that didn't have a ps5 or preorder bonus....I guess its an update. Although, just a personal opinion, none of the exclusive items were actually worth paying extra money for the preorder. They had little significant consequence on gameplay. The only really interesting item for non-ps5 players is going to be the Hogsmead Haunted Shop sidequest. However, for ps5 players all you really get is two cosmetic items. So basically...nothing. I really wish that they had released a more significant update for the game such as a morality scale, polyjuice potion for sneaking into other common rooms, or even having significant consequences for choices that you make within the game. The game was advertised to be a choice driven open RPG game and really fell short of delivering that.

Strangely now it’s been over a week since the update has come out, I’m on Nintendo switch and I have everything in the update but I don’t have the new hippogriff? I’m right at the end of the game and have highwing, so I don’t know why I didn’t get the onyx one.

I feel like all of those things that you asked for at the end of the video are definitely NOT the sorts of things you'd see in an update for a non-live service game and instead things you'd hope for with either a paid expansion or a sequel. I'm on my 4th playthrough of the game right now so I can wholeheartedly say that I'd be down for either option so I'll be very curious to see what they decide to do next.

I'd like to see flying carpets as a new mount. I know they're banned in Britain in Harry's time, but this is a century earlier and according to Crouch Sr, the embargo is relatively recent.

It just sucks when u think I preorder on PlayStation so 4 out of 6 things I already had at launch. I get photo mode and some new clothes/broom. I get it it's a small update but yrs and half and we got new cosmetics and a way to take photos I could already do by doing a screenshot with my controller lol.

I pre-ordered in ps5 other than reset skill points and “photo mode” + azcaban outfit i had all those things. And now my game crashes when i fast travel to hogwards. I was much better before update.

Felix Felicis was always in HL. It just shows you where all the chests are in game.

I'd love the ability to sit and lie down in your bed, maybe giving a bonus of some kind. Change clothes for each season. Morality system (but that would kinda mess up the whole alohamora stuff). More conservation options with npcs. Actual owl husbandry and a companion to take care of ♡

For the future you pretty much named everything I hope they’ll implement. The main ones I’m hoping for is becoming an animagus, transfiguration combat spells, and learning how to apparate. If we do learn how to become an animagus will we then be required to register with the ministry and if we choose not too will there be consequences. They can keep the floo flames in the castle, but for the outer wold, there should be apparation land markers and they should show our character disapparating from one place and appearing in the next. I want to turn people into animals, I know we can turn enemies into chickens and wolves into goats but I want to choose the spell. I also want to help Anne. I want our MC to modify Isadora’s pain spell into curse removal one. The modified version targets the foreign spell in the body and removes it.

Glad to see people still enjoying this game. Played from day one and I still find it fun to jump in from time to time. I doubt Quidditch will come to this version of the game. Maybe in part 2 or something, but considering Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is floating around out there somewhere I don't see them adding it.

I like to walk a lot in the game instead of running or flying around, so if there was a button or shortcut to always keep walking, like CAPS LOCK, I would need to keep pressing the C key all the time.

I think Quiddich is not gonna be good with the current broom control scheme. We would need a overhaul of the broom controls for a good quidditch DLC. Or a quidditch dedicated game.

There is such an unprecedented level of potential for Hogwarts Legacy in the future and I can’t wait to see what Warner Bros/Avalanche come up with next. Ngl, you mentioned careers in the game. I don't think they should give us professional jobs, but Serona mentioned she was a server in The Three Broomsticks. I'd take odd jobs from the villagers all day long. I don't think I should be able to become Minister of Magic. I would love to be able to jinx the other students and interact more with the school ghosts.
