She is extremely level-headed and even-tempered it seems but just remember that may change as she settles. Do you guys have much experience starting OTTBs off the track? It's okay if not, but I would definitely recommend consulting in a local trainer if not just to get some professional pointers. The breed is exceptional but can be slightly difficult in early training if handled improperly. The biggest thing to work on is consistent inside leg to outside hand to slowly encourage her to soften and to drop her neck. Don't tie her head down to try to force the motion ever as it will result in her becoming improperly balanced and potentially irritated. The great thing is that it doesn't seem like you guys are in a rush so you all can really take your time and go slow with it. Teaching her to balance on a lunge and by teaching her driving will also significantly improve her balance and confidence, it just takes lots of time. Can't wait to see the journey together! 🥰

Hey!!🥰 She is isn't she, we're quite surprised!😂 I've shared a couple TB's in my past, and Luke has had 3 TB's previously which he produced himself since they were youngsters, one he recently just lost💔 - So fear not!! We're also doing all the necessary things to make her as comfy as possible, we've changed her bit to something a lot kinder on the mouth, had her looked at by a farrier who shod her on all 4's, then we've had the dentist out just this morning! I've also got her booked in with a physio who specialises in TB's, which is going to be beneficial💖 Thank you for this comment, I hope you'll enjoy the journey!

Nothing beats a TB! You will have so much fun with her, looking forward to watching your journey! I've had my girl a few months now and she's come on great we've already been out to some dressage so competitions to have a little fun I would think are definitely do-able this summer :)
