Water resistant, dust resistant, anti reflective screen better armor, better chip that is less power hungry than snapdragon and also better in gaming, different camera layout, 7 years of updates, tho if you don’t wanna don’t it’s not like you need to buy every new tab every year

The S7+ has been a workhorse for me, all day almost every single day (literally, Im a trucker) for three years. Still going strong tbh but I just got the 10Ultra in the mail, cant wait to go get it. The only annoyance is, Samsung treats all these big tablets like laptops (Wifi only, only to the US models for some reason) so I gotta order the international version so I can use them on 4g/5g.

It depends on your carrier. I have TMobile and they have this tablet with 5G!!! Definitely getting it, and keeping my S7+.

How is the screen outdoors? That’s one of the reason I would upgrade to S10 plus. It supposedly has less glare when using out doors. I wish reviewers would discuss that

Tab7+ is legit best tablet ive ever owned.. Every day used for 4 years now, supports fast charge and last all day long easily 🤟

The 7 years of updates is fantastic. But ipads do get longer than that. The ipad Air 2 was released in 2014, but still got an update to 15.8.3 on the 29th July 2024. Consider this, that would be like Samsung providing updates for the tab S 10.5 and the 8.4 model in 2024 instead stopping in 2016 or 17? It's safe to say the flagship ipads will get a longer support cycle. Even the base models that compete against the FE will probably get at least 7 years. I'll be impressed when Samsung can support all their tablets for at least 7 years.

The Air 2 is a bit of an exception. In terms of OS updates iPads usually get 6 years, the 2017 ipad pro did NOT get iPadOS 18 so 2017-2023 is 6...

I definitely took advantage of the trade-in deal for my S7+. $450 tade-in credit? Heck yeah. I'd only be able to get $250 selling on a marketplace. Plus, i kept watching the price after pre-ordering. I added one into my cart and waited. They ended up giving me an additional $50 off promo code. So total, $699 for the 256gb Ultra model. It comes tomorrow!

@deighty80 I'm trying to reply, but YT keeps deleting my comment. Samsung's website during pre-order time is the best spot and time for "enhanced trade-in" deals. No special link or code required. Just sign in to their website using your samsung account. The additional $50 was given to me probably because I added another one in my cart and waited a day or two. I repurchased it then caanceled my first pre-order.

I ended up pre-ordering on 10/2, but i went back in and added another to my cart. I checked back daily. After a while, the promo code popped up, so i canceled my first order and repurchased it. A day after, the $50 code wasn't available for new buyers but was still available in my cart. the keyboard (w/o track pad) went from $100 to free, but no promo code.

Long version: So I initially pre-ordered it around 10/2, but I went back in and added a new one to a cart on Samsung's website because their deals change every few days. No keyboard or anything, just the tablet. I waited for a couple of days with it in my cart, and all of a sudden, I saw an additional $50 promo code added to my cart. I couldn't see the code, though. I attempted to reach out to customer support to see if they'd be willing to just credit my first purchase. Their response: "Because promo codes are time sensitive, we are unable to issue a credit back" (even though the code was still active when they emailed me back). I then purchased it again and canceled my first pre-order. The same thing happened with my S24 Ultra, but it was too late to do a cancel and repurchase.

He tests these at full screen brightness. The S10+ has a brighter screen and so that's probably why it runs out sooner.

Wow I still Have My Old S7+. This Year I Skip this S10+ Because I'm Currently using P12 Lenovo 12.7inch for Daily use. Always Support 12inch Screen Tablet although I also Buy Lenovo 14.5inch Ultra Tablet (But It's Difficult to Carry while Walking Around with it) ✌🏻😊✌🏻

Actually, I'm leaning towards a TAB 9+ FE because it offers FIVE years of updates at not a HUGE price offset. The TAB S7 is OLD and will offer a WAY shorter update life-span cycle and would NOT even consider this buying new/used! Just my honest opinion... It's like buying a S20FE phone today which is at the END of it's update cycle - does NOT make sense!
