I use my IPad for flying. I have theNavigraph charts app and I think it is really fascinating that navigraph 8 can now see where I am in MSFS on an external device! It really helps me with taxing on Vatsim etc.😊

Can you import the Navigraph created flight plan on your iPad into MSFS?

I could do that before though. If you have simlink running it broadcast the data from your sim to Navigraph, which can be accessed by you on other devices.

@@johnkoral888 yes you can you can export the flight plan as a fpln file them import it into MSFS, without having to go through the mess of all the FMS stuff

Very cool ! I am now in a quandry how do you (we) get the flight plan to the GPS in MSFS ? I have typically exported and loaded as you demonstrate - but I see discrepencies between my NAVI map and the GPS in the cockpit. Very strange. I also might suggest an easier way to find "total Miles" and "Cruz altitude" from Navi graph screen. Seems buried in the options TAB. Suggest to Navi somehow

So, I fly using VR and “updated” to charts 8. However, when I call up the Navagraph charts in sim in MSFS 2020 the old version shows. I went on the forum and the official response is that this update is NOT supported in sim for MSFS 2020. How is this HUGE omission not front page news with using this software.

This is a fantastic upgrade and thanks for your review of the soooo many features! The one thing I found out was that because you can't specify the parking spot you are at on the ground of the departure airport, when saving a flight plan in .pln format and then loading that it into the SIM it puts you on the runway. I loaded a flight plan in the MSFS World Map screen and when I changed the indicated runway to a parking spot, it nuked my flight plan. I know in LNM when saving a flight plan for loading into MSFS, it specifically warns you that you need to select a parking spot or gate and it gives you a list of what's available to select before saving. Perhaps I'm missing something OR if not, and this is an issue, that the Navigraph folks will address it in the future. Regardless, I'm loving the upgrade and thanks for the review.

I wish they could integrate a full OFP from simbrief. Right now all we get is the route integration from simbrief. If we can have the full OFP in Navigraph, that’s one less window I have to be switching back and forth.

I am a subscriber and I find it OK for charts. The main issue is that it is too simple and lacks comprehensive functionalities. The system interface and functionalities must be revamped within six months, or customers will not renew. I am not sure if you have seen little navmap?

Hi all, just realised that when I fly and use the cloud version of Charts ver. 8, the sim stutters a lot both with vid and audio. Even worse when activating flight following feature. Any clues?

maybe someone can tell me how do you do a vor appoach landing at about a 30 degree angle. i am trying to land at ENEV runway 35 via steti. and when you take the turn to land at the last waypoint 35vor the autopilot will turn towards the runway put put it way left of the runway and sometimes high or low,

I love the VFR additions, particularly the addition of VRPs and in/outbound lanes for larger airports like Liverpool and Manchester. It's a pity that they don't include those as VFR departure options for flight planning, though, you have to add those to the route manually. Also, the option to add a standard overhead join to a destination airfield where there aren't inbound lanes would be awesome and would get Navigraph into the same league as SkyDemon for VFR flight planning.

I m from India. I can not renew my subscription. Everything was fine uptil now but now no any payment method works and payment declined. No cc no paypal. Everything is fine with my credit cards. I also changed cards and do inquiry in banks they told no issue from their side. Any idea anybody from India or other countries facing issues regarding payment?
