I collect beanie babies too and people will try to sell their beanie babies for ridiculous prices. People may have paid these prices back in the day when they were at peak popularity but nowadays no one is willing to pay that, not even collectors. I got all of mine at an antique store from 1 to 5 dollars. To put it simply, beanie babies are just not in hot demand anymore, pretty much the only people buying are the ones that had them as kids. Sorry for the long comment, I just really love beanie babies haha. 😅

I also feel like the beanie babies are a lot cuter than the beanie boos, I don't really think they're cute tbh :/ I also recently got a lot of beanie babies, but they were 10€ each (which is about 17 NZD apparently) so I'm kinda jealous but also very happy for you uwu Legs the frog and Chocolate the moose are one of my favorites :) Also the error thing is about mistakes that are either made with the tag or on the beanie babie itself. The "The End" bear for example has some embroidery done on his body and on some of them it's either missing or incomplete, which makes it worth a lot. More common mistakes include typos on the tags. Another thing that increases their value is when they were like a limited edition and only small quantities were produced.

@@annig7488 Yeah I also like the big eyes, what I don't really like are the super bright and "unnatural" colors and - and this is going to sound a bit weird - their mouths; most of the time I find plushies without mouths cuter somehow lol

You have to check for tag errors sometimes still have blank spots in the tag or stuff like that and on the tush tag it’ll say P E, pellets or PVC pellets PVC pellets are more rare than the ones with PE pellets and that’s what gives them the bean texture inside of them. That’s how they got their name.

I have heard that claude crab goes for quite a bit, also keep an eye out for peace bear, shes rare if she is missing the peace sign meant to be on her chest, she was handed out during sport games, also iggy the iguana missing the tongue can go for a lot and tag placement is also vital in finding worth, on the butt tags it will either say P.E or P.V.C pellets depending on the bear and pellets it has, it may be rare! hope it helped!!!!😊❤🌈

I'm quite late to this but I enjoy binge watching both your channels anyway I have a beenie baby called flip hes a white cat that sits on my bed or shelf and hes from 1993! He was a gift from my bestfreind this makes me want to collect them now! beanie babies with “errors” are the ones that sell for more. take for example the valentino bear. he sells for a lot of money because less than 500 versions of him have his name spelt wrong on the tag. also the babies with print errors or fur errors are selling for more. some that sell for hundreds more are the ones who have listed “pvc pellets” which were the old pellets used before “pe pellets”. pvc pellets were used before the 2000s came along and they no longer are made or used for the babies. make sure to look for certain errors to sell them for more. also check the dates they were born and which type of pellets they have. pe is worthless, pvc is in the money. another thing to look out for is errors on the tags. theres more errors on the ty tags than the tush tags. check the ty tag to see if theres an error. examples are: name spelt wrong, no star above “y” in ty, and more spelling errors. look for reference photos of the tags to find the errors. some are less noticeable than others

I was born in ‘89.. so these were my era,have pretty much all of these haha but way more than 33, lots of the “original gang” (the first 8) also have the mcdonalds toys some in packages unopened still. All have tags. Like new condition cuz they just sat there i mean i didnt play with them😂 i really would love to let go of them but dont have the heart to just give them away.. so if interested please buy them alll from me! Your frog is named legs he is one of the first ever beanie babies and that’s why people put him up for such high prices even though he’s probably only worth about $15 but if you see one with just the TY on its tag that means it’s a very valuable stay on the lookout :) OH!
