I would definitely say that 75% of all my hunts have no gold at all and maybe only 50% get a little silver. Those rare days that you get both. Turned out that after the wrap up I realized the really green quarter was silver as well. I love finding really old things. Every day is a great hunt just getting out but some days are certainly better than others. 🏴‍☠️🙂

Nice Gypsie bangle bracelet, she probably rotted away long ago.😮 it is amazing how long things from the past can turn up. It seems the salt water works on the copper in the gold and can even pit it besides tarnishing it.

Amazing gold bracelet, Mike. Looks like you and Jim are both doing well. I know he has been struggling a bit with the Deus II in the black sand. Have you had the opportunity to compare signals with him?

A compared signals a little bit with him. I have spent more time next to Daniel with his Deus. The signals are so different. Jim has gotten some good stuff lately with it and I think he is getting more comfortable with it. The Deus really seems to be a great machine. I’m not in a place to switch any time soon but definitely have made respect for that machine. 🏴‍☠️🙂that really old bracelet was a very unexpected surprise.

Mike… what do you run your sensitivity at most of the time ? I’ve been running mine between 22-24. This 900 is very impressive for pulling very tiny ( like end of pencil lead ) pieces of metal at about 16-18 inches deep. It’s impressive but also annoying. So i was thinking about dropping my sensitivity down to say 18-20 or maybe just keep it below 20 to alleviate finding those tiny scraps. Thoughts please ? I ask because we use the same machine. Thanks for input sir 👍🏼😁 SUPER AWESOME old gold bracelet find !!! Finds like that are more precious in my opinion than the big fat massive diamond ring you got a while back. Precious metal with some history equals awesomeness !!! P.S. the “ key “ to success is those storms and huge waves. See what i did there ?! Key to success , since you were finding lots of keys 😂😂

I also normally run 22-24 when I’m in clean conditions. If there is a lot of black sand I drop it until it hopefully can not overload. I will drop is a bit in really high target areas but really feel it can be dangerous. I also lower my recovery speed in high target areas. I like the 24 sensitivity when the conditions are sanded in to get deep but I have the same issue with tiny metal at deep depths. 🏴‍☠️🙂 it’s key to turn down the sensitivity if your in back sand. When I was kid we had 3 or 4 filters wash in on our beach. I didn’t see any gold on them but they were in really bad shape after floating in the ocean for so long. 🏴‍☠️🙂

I was trying to keep everything down to 1/2 hour but found that I was cutting so much content to make them fit. I know a lot of people fast forward though much of it but as my hunts are normally a couple hours long at least, I felt that it was important to keep as much as possible. I do listen to all input and really really appreciate it. It’s hard to figure out how to make them a lot shorter but I do try to put a lot of the highlights in shorts. Thank you again. Mike 🏴‍☠️🙂
