HUGE! Why Rocket Labs ELECTRON KICK STAGE Humiliates The Entire Industry!

Rocket Lab’s Electron rocket employs an unique stage separation procedure which includes a so-called ‘kick stage’. Combined with a largely 3D printed construction, the kick stage’s advantages allow Rocket Lab to fully configure launches from the ground up with as low costs as possible. The kick stage’s developments have also snowballed into the development of the separate Photon spacecraft, as its extension. Photon may be used for the most demanding space launch requirements where low costs are also a necessity. All these developments will go towards the building of Electron and subsequent rockets, as the macro goal for Rocket Lab remains reducing costs and ensuring reusability as much as possible at a smaller scale than SpaceX.

Don't show relatively 3d printing rocket stages whenever you mention 3d printing. Rocket lab is carbon, much stronger and lighter.

I like this content enjoyable watching. Just one point - it's a Rutherford engine, named after Ernest Rutherford, physicist from New Zealand. Pronounced "Ruther-fid" not "Roother-foord".
