Ol' Red gets a front bumper with winch, a rear rack, and the diff is now locked! Plus I clean up and ride on an old ATV trail at my Dad's small hobby farm.

Nice job on Ol' Red. The details you put in this build are top shelf. Well done.

You can sure tell the difference between someone with some talent and someone without a clue. Watching these videos has been an eye opening experience. You're doing quite well. Thanks for some good engineering ideas.

Nice tractor!Might want to install a rubber bumper on your winch cable so you don’t bend up your rollers:)

Very nice machine,..really liking what you did here. Not too many people appreciate a "modded" Wheel Horse,..but I do. I see you have watched some/or one of my vids,..thanks for doing so. You shared a great video here,..thank You!

get your self a hockey puck and cut to the center(radus) and put it just before your eyelet for your hook, it will help make your cable eyelet last longer

You do what you know, nice job!! With the rear locked like you have,( I'm gonna ask a stupid question here ) you CAN make turns, right? Or is a limited slip kind of thing?
@carlhartman93582 жыл бұрын
You can make turns, it does help to handle it like a three wheeler where you have to lean your body weight to the outside of the turn to get the inside wheel to pick up a little bit to slip

What model is your wheel horse ?

Nice work on this rig. Using the chain links cut in half as grab points is pretty cool. How's the transmission holding up with the flipped pinions, after 3 years?

I sold this tractor two years ago but what I can see from other guys is that if you ride them hard it won’t last forever

That turned out awesome! I'm so doing that to the Montgomery Ward if your ok with it. What software do you use?

@@carlhartman9358 editing software! Sorry I thought I put editing in front of software.
@carlhartman93585 жыл бұрын
I wasn’t sure if you were talking about editing software or cad program. I use iMovie that came with my MacBook Pro. I’m not even tech savy and I found it easy to learn and use
@HillbillyOffroading5 жыл бұрын
@@carlhartman9358 I use Windows Movie Maker 2018. It's a free software. It works ok but you can only do so much with it.

What kind of muffler do you have on your WH? Sounds good and different than my stock muffler.
@carlhartman93584 жыл бұрын
Some kind of aftermarket npt muffler, came with it

How did you lock the rear? And permanent mods?
@carlhartman93584 жыл бұрын
I flipped 4 of the 8 pinion gears in the differential to lock it. It's not permanent and can be reversed
@ryanmahr453 жыл бұрын
@@carlhartman9358 I have a c81 that I’m messing with, I’ve never been into the transmission and I’d like to lock it, can you elaborate on “flip 4 of the 8 pinion gears”? I know engines quite well but I don’t know my way around transmissions. I’ll look this up, but a response from someone who has done it would probably be more helpful. Thank you!
