It’s a white bass and striper hybrid. They stock them in some lakes here.

This used to be the “No pay” area just outside of the north gate but the changed the entrance to inside the gate. So go in north gate, take 1st right towards marina, then 1st right on gravel road. Stay on main gravel road and it will take you to this area. This is my secret spot so don’t tell anybody lol.

Thank you so much. The fish are gorging on shad right not so everything is much slower later in the season. You can still get into them but definitely a lower fishery as the season drags out.

Nice catch. We have been killing it out at Pueblo also. Caught a 10lb wiper and my uncle got a 7lb last weekend

I've never heard of a wiper, it looked a lot like a striper bass.

White Bass & Striper cross breed. They are sterile but are stocked into a number of lakes here in Colorado and are incredible fighters.
