Brilliant video. As a Fleetwood boy living in Reading this was video heaven. Been to Tram Sunday on a number of occasions years ago and it was always a fantastic day. Great to see the folks of FY7 having a good time and also to see some of the streets of Fleetwood that mean so much to me. Well done to you 👍😀😀

Man Fleetwood looks the same as 20yrs+ ago, I left there when I was 11 with my parents in 1999 and we moved to new Zealand, havnt been back since, im 34 now, I'm moving back to Fleetwood in 5months at the end of may 2023 for a year or 2, see how it goes, I cannot wait.

Great to see Fleetwood so vibrant! I pop up there most times when I visit Blackpool. Generally, it has a 'Sleepy Hollow' feel which is delightful as it gives one a rest bite from the 'Madding Crowds'! There is always the famous Market of course. a delightful, traditional browse around, I always end up buying something there! As always Stephen, thank you for a great nightcap!

Attended tram Sunday a few times over the years when I was a bus driver. We always brought a bus to show off from Strathclyde Buses and later First Glasgow .

Some great old trams and classic vehicles there Stephen. I remember the Ford Granada Ghia, what a motor that was! Love the buses too. Looked very busy there today so obviously a popular event.👍

The weird building on legs on the prom near the Lower Lighthouse is/was associated with Fleetwood Nautical College, now the Nautical Campus of B&FC. I've not seen any activity there for years. So maybe it is aboandoned but I believe it's a listed building. Local celebrity Joey Blower bought Fleetwood Pier before it burned down. I believe he still owns the site. There was planning consent given for some luxury apartments to be built on there. It would make a nice picnick area.
