Little Singleton was a funny junction with a petrol station. A crossroads south on the B road to Singleton, east towards Garstang, west to Blackpool, and north to Fleetwood, well that road was almost west.

Where would the wardrobes go? Not a lot of room, doubt they'd even go up the stairs looks a bit narrow. Didn't even spot a cupboard. Plenty of room for the spider maybe, but not much else. Thanks Stephen. 👍

This is what my Auntie Susan said about The Queens Theatre........If you google it, it was Queen’s then Feldman’s then renamed Queen’s again; it was somewhere in the area where the Houndshill Shopping Centre is now. I thought it was on Coronation St, Uncle David thinks it was nearer to Central Drive at the back of the old central station. Online it puts it as being on Bank Hey St which is at the back of the Tower, but lots of roads were altered when the station was demolished and also when the shopping centre was built such as Adelaide St, which still goes down to the prom but now seems to have a chunk missing out of it where the one way system goes through!

Some great gifts there Stephen. Love all those historic theatre programmes as well as the football and boxing ones. I used to have several hundred of them in a collection until I sold them all on eBay a few years ago, (yes I regret it now). Incidentally that Queen’s Theatre was indeed the old Feldman’s, western end of Hounds Hill. From research It was acquired by music publisher Bertram Feldman. In 1938 it underwent some renovation work with all the latest Arc Deco features and could seat 1680 people. It was sold in 1952 whereby it was given the name change to Queen’s Theatre. I have some photos which I will FB Messenger you Stephen. I fondly remember watching Mr & Mrs too. Great vlog guys👏🏻
