Honestly, the most horrific thing about the entire clip is the idea that the spirit inside Huggy Wuggy was just trying to get home. They were so scared and they just wanted to return to a familiar, comforting place, but everyone kept standing in their way. it depends actually considering the "voice" we hear in the tutorial for multplayer game it seems to imply they only want to hurt those who work for playtime company. but they might not be smart enough or aware enoguh to realise not all adults work for playtime in case of huggy anyway as hes shown no ablity to speak. perhaps the child they used to make him was too young it would explain why he is so obident to orders as well a hypothetically a very young child. but Mommy longlegs seems to be the expecttion as she is blatantly aware and smart enough to her situation but she is a sadistic hypocrtical bully. going by what she does to all the toys who fail to stop you in her "games" so shes unlikely to care whos shes ending if she gets out.

@@Puellaphantasia The orphan theory was pretty much confirmed in chapter 2. As for Huggy, I believe he could be Rich. My own theory is that the player is someone who experimented on him (or even made him into Huggy), and Huggy recognizes us, and that's why he chases and wants to eat us.

I had a theory about them killing the employees being destroyed to make them into the more giant toys and killing the kids for the smaller toys, which might make sense kinda if you think about it because they have people "bring" in kids to use to make smaller toys and the employees seem to not know anything that is happing to the kids and if they did the managers would have to get rid of them one way or the other.

This is all but confirmed. The "Big Bodies Initiative" made by the Doctor prerty much says that they killed their employees to replace their bodies with that of big toys. The bigger the toy, the bigger the body you need to make it "alive". That's why they failed experimentation with rats, they need something that's not too big or small AKA humans.

You can see Huggy in the trees at 4:16 like Mike pointed out, but Huggy does appear before that. If you pause and go to half speed at 4:05 and look at the hedge as the camera turns to the right, you can see Huggy watching you before he just slowly ducks down behind the hedge so he can sneak up on you

This is an idea, let’s say that huggy did die but his body was taken by experiment 1006 the prototype just like Mommy Long Legs after she died and is using his body or internal organs for himself. So far from what we saw in chapter 2, there was blood and fur, but no hand nor foot prints were shown on the walls indicating that he climbed to get to the vents.

Theory: I wonder if in Poppy Playtime, you're playing as the doctor that did all of these experiments. I don't think Elliot had anything to do with the human experimentation (except with his own daughter being turned into Poppy). I do believe he is probably the Prototype. He was probably killed trying to intervene with the human experimentation in my opinion. He seems like he was probably a good guy. I say this because, when you look at the slides, there is one with the name missing. I believe it is the doctor's because all of the other names are accounted for. But I believe the player is the doctor because Mommy Long Legs literally said that the player worked there. She's clearly mad at him. I think he was the one experimenting on her specifically.

An easy way for Mob Games to subvert the theory of Laith Pierre being 1006 would be for Laith Pierre to be just the person taking the credit for newer technology after passing his prime, just like later day Edison, and he would suddenly reappear to help the protagonist in later episodes. 1006 would then be the actual creator of the toy conversion process who was turned into the first living toy as a means of silencing him and if they wanted to be really coy about it Mob Games could just never reveal any background about this character apart from the fact that Playtime Co. successfully scrubbed all trace of him away.
