I remembered this young 🧒 man Bingy Hugh Blair from a schoolboy, I remember when he useto played for Waterhouse .I useto go by Jewsland primary school and watched him played for Waterhouse team, they useto called him God. He was very skillful also ennis, I haven't seeing this guy more than 35 years. During his time playing for Waterhouse in the national football team, they useto have a really good team. The community useto looking forward for Sunday evening games at Jewlsand school ,it would be packed with people watching the game. I been watching football in Waterhouse long before Bingy Hugh Blair time in the 1960s and 70s, in the major league when the team was called great west. With Dango Dee Trevor Dennis, Junie Buzz,Jennie Vee, Sammy, Garthy Dennis and list goes on.

Don't know if they still exist, but Jamaica used to have community leagues with clubs in each community playing each other. Then you have the community teams, made up of mainly players from the community, plus imported players. During the summer, there used to be the D & G Minor Leagues for the youths, who would then play Manning Cup, DaCosta Cup and other age-group schoolboy football competitions for the younger ones, like Colts football and Prep School football (which we still have). So by the time the young footballers reach Manning & DaCosta Cup, they are very skillful and just about ready to play for the top Jamaican clubs and even the national teams.

Today’s youth have no passion for football, they are caught in blinding life style.
