He is right about this show being in a generation we can relate too. My Great aunt Alice was born in 1900. My mother was born in 1929. I came along in 1965. It has been seeing the life period of my own family. My Dad's father fought in WWI. While we are Americans, seeing life in that period has brought back lots of memories of family stories I was told.

I really wish they would bring back the series 😭 but a sequel would be nice too

There will probably be a sequel but it's probably years down the road, because the Downton story didn't yet feel finished. To me at least. Sadly the cast probably wouldn't commit to full time filming for a series, and end up never been able to distance themselves from that particular part ever again. That's usually why an actor will usually leave a part eventually.

Saw the film yesterday. They are right about that particular scene with Mr Moseley. It's so funny. All in all the film was Brilliant. If you don't know the TV show it won't make any sense. Why Andy did what he did in boilergate made no sense either .I can't say more then that without spoiling it!

Andy doing made sense. He was jealous and upset but The conclusion with daisy at the end is what I didn't get. I just don't get how him doing that and her conclusion are linked? Maybe I missed something. And yes, the scene with Mr. Moseley was hilarious. The entire cinema was laughing.

@@stephaniejane306 *spoiler alert * Andy didn't care for the plumber as he thought the guy had eyes for his fiancée daisy. Why would he break the boiler pump brining the hated plumber back into the house to flirt with daisy again? Is what I was wondering. Daisy wasn't interested in the plumber but Andy didn't seem to know that. Up til that point when Daisy and Andy's wedding was brought up in conversation Andy comments were always along the lines of ugh whatever. Daisy thought Andy was going off her. In the TV show daisy took her right to be educated, which wasn't common for a lower servant at that time. She faught for what she wanted. She didn't think Andy would do the same. By the small amount of verbal exchanges and smashing the hit water pump Andy showed daisy he was prepared to fight for her avd had fight in him she didn't know he had . That's my opinion of it anyway.

After Lady Violet Revealing that she's not going to live long, I doubt how well a sequel is going to be, unless she's going to be delivering her one liners from a portrait in the imagination of Robert.

You poor Brits, remember it’s fiction, not real, or true to life series. These actors are brilliant. Sad, it’s the DA series was mostly about being a snob, with the meanest cuts. Class systems probably invented by the Brits. Great interview.

Yes, it is fiction. But many real life events on the world stage and from the family life if the author are included. Learn some history and you might appreciate it more.
